Hi Revdex.com Star Dental Practice have seen thousand of patients over the years and yet to see a patient this rude and demanding to the staffWe accommodate [redacted] as a emergency patient because she has a fracture tooth and doctor diagnose a RCT and crownRCT had to be referred to a specialist and my staff sent referral multiple times to the insurance for the approval and she kept saying we did sent it out and was not doing our jobAs for the crown, we present a treatment plan with her co-pay would be and she flip outShe kept insisting that her co-pay is $with is not trueWe only goes by what patient insurance fee schedule gives us and other necessary procedure that is best for our patientsS: Took radiographsFindings: #29-MOD broken restoration/Drecurrent decay/slight pain to percussionRecommended RCT/crown for #Recommended endo referral due to possible calcified canal at apexIn conclusion we were very professional and nice to Mrs [redacted] and I did talked to her personallyI kindly explain to her options are and she became very rude to meWe do value and respect our patients but do not tolerate rude obnoxious behavior

I am rejecting this response because: this was not what happened at all.  I accepted the treatment plan and price on Oct. 24th with no problems or questions- I never even once flipped out.  I called back the next day (Oct. 25) questioning their pricing compared to my Description of [redacted]efits and Copayments since only [redacted], the office manager, handled those details I needed to speak with him and left my number and was told he would call me back at 3.  He never called back.  They did put in a referral to the Endontist to my insurance provider but it was denied on Oct. 25th because it did not have the Xray included or justification (per my insurance company).  They notified Star Dental for those TWO things and they never sent them in.  I called Star Dental again on Oct. 27 to see if they sent what was needed in and to talk to [redacted], but as usual he would have to call me back.  My insurance company called them, with me on hold with the insurance company, asking for the xrays and justification to be sent in and regiving them the proper fax numbers to do so and they said they would.  On Friday, I spoke to [redacted] and when he couldn't explain why my documents were not sent in to insurance company and why I what the "Upgrade Fee" of $200 they were charging me for I did call him INCOMPETENT.  I have spent hours on the phone with my insurance company checking the status of my referral that they never completed.  Of course they are going to say I was rude and demanding because they have no other excuse as to why they couldn't simply submit the referral documents needed to I could get my root canal.  They did not do their jobs and you can call my Insurance Provider for employees of State of CA- Premier Access #[redacted] to verify.  They have records of what occurred and how many times they had to call Star Dental to follow up on referral paperwork.  Star Dental calling me rude and obnoxious is ridiculous, all I wanted was to get my root canal.  I was persistent, but that was only because they were not doing their job.

staff sent referral multiple times to the insurance for the approval and she kept saying we did sent it out and was not doing our job. As for the crown, we present a treatment plan with her co-pay would be and she flip out. She kept insisting that her co-pay is $50 with is not true. We only goes by what patient insurance fee schedule gives us and other necessary procedure that is best for our patients. S: Took radiographs. Findings: #29-MOD broken restoration/D2 recurrent decay/slight pain to percussion. Recommended RCT/crown for #29. Recommended endo referral due to possible calcified canal at apex. In conclusion we were very professional and nice to Mrs [redacted] and I did talked to her personally. I kindly explain to her options are and she became very rude to me. We do value and respect our patients but do not tolerate rude obnoxious behavior.
