I hired Timica Smith for my wedding on September 5, 2020 on August 21, 2019. I made my first payment on 8/22/2019 in the amount of $250 (deposit to hold my date). I have made the following payments 8/23/2019 $150 (deposit for DJ Services). 9/16/2019 $200, 10/21/2019 $200 and 11/15/2019 $200 for a total of $1000.00. Timica and I made an agreement that I would pay a total of $200/month until full amount of $3000.00 was paid off on the 22nd of each month. I had to cancel my contract with Timica in 12/2019 due to a financial hardship. Per my contract with Timica I was able to cancel my contract with a full refund as long as I canceled 120 days prior to my event. I canceled in 12/2019 and my event is 09/5/2020. Timica and I made an agreement via text message that she will pay me $150/month on the 22nd of every month starting 02/22/2020. Timica paid me $150 on 02/26/2020 and since then has cut off all communication we me and will not pay me the money we had agreed on. The whole time that I dealt with Timica she was unprofessional (even insulted me), she would not give me a contract and called and harassed me for payment which I did not want to give to her because she would not provide me with a contract. Finally after canceling 3 appointments and was late to meet to sign the contract that we finally signed on 10/21/2019. While Timica was hired by me while misleading me of what services she would provide me. I was under the impression that she would be planning my wedding but at the end all she was going to do is decorate my wedding. She also falsely stated that she has won the best wedding/event planner in the state Indiana which was just an award from (I believe) the ***. Since I had to find my own venue I was not able to use the venue I wanted because the venue would not allow Timica to work there. She was banded from the building. I also tried to work with other people such as a cake decorator and they would not work with me because I was working with Timica. Other brides have gone thu
