Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2017/06/06) */
Patient has had failed appointments giving less than business hrs notice as per our policy: 9/cancelled day of, 10/less than bus hrs, 11/less than bus hrs, 12/no show, & 5/less than bus hrsWe waived the
first two cancelation fees, though we generally only waive oneShe did come in 11/8/ which was the last time we saw herAt this time there were no charges because we waived themThe balance of the charges is from the three remaining dates after that visit in 11/16, 12/16, & 5/The patient signed our financial agreement at her first visit where she was informed of our cancelation policy and chargesLike most practices reserve our appointment times for only the patient scheduled and we do not "stack" our appointmentsIf a patient finds that they are not able to give adequate notice repeatedly, a large clinic such as Afdent may be their best option because they stack their schedule to accommodate sudden changesWe have documentation to support the failed appointments without proper notice per our agreement and all waived and non-waived charges(Please note that the patient would have to sign a release of records in order for us to share this documentation with the Revdex.com due to HIPAA regulations.)
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 10, 2017/06/10) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept the response because I was told that I would not be charged for the appointment I missed I understand I signed a waiver but if I was told I would not be charged and was never sent a billI told them the person that relieved me from work called off something I could not prevent at the time they seemed to understandThis has happened twice this is something I couldn't preventI was told I would not be charged and did not get charged until I missed this last appointment
As far as Afdent it's not their place to tell someone where to go because appointments get cancelled I did get offended the nurses need to learn how to talk to patients seriously

This vehicle was brought in for service June 16th 2014 at 80791 miles two and one half years and approximately 16,000 miles ago, we replaced both front tires and performed an alignment as the customer stated. The customer stated he recently had a “damaged” wheel bearing replaced at another shop and...

was told that caused the abnormal tire wear. These wheel bearings typically fail when you hit a curb or an object with a force hard enough to also knock the alignment out of specifications which will cause tires to wear. This repair is well out of the 3 months or 4000 mile warranty that is documented on the repair order that was signed by the customer.

Broken and or worn wheel bearings will make a loud distinct noise and can cause a wobble feeling while driving. Again, we replaced the tires and performed a wheel alignment 06/16/2014 at 80791 miles. The vehicle was brought back in 09/15/2014 at 82263 miles for a no start condition where we replaced the battery, the customer never mentioned any other symptoms at that time. On 10/17/2014 at 82952 miles the vehicle was brought back in for an ignition key recall and again there was no mention of any abnormal noise or problem. Before we perform any wheel alignment our technician inspects steering and suspension components for wear which includes wheel bearings for excessive play, we also perform a 27 point muti-point inspection and road test the vehicle. At the time of service no wheel bearing issues were noted. It’s been 2 ½ years since the vehicle has been in our facility for service, anything could have happened in that time frame to damage the wheel bearing and cause the tires to wear. According to the customer the shop that did the recent repairs said the wheel bearing was damaged, we are not liable for any damage done by the customer. The repairs are also well beyond our normal warranty period, as a good gesture we are offering the customer $250.00 towards his repairs.
