Review: This business double-charged my American Express Card on 10/11/13 for $267.76, twice. I went back to the store on 10/15; showed them my credit card statement in-person; and asked them to credit my card for the extra charge. They took my credit card information, promising that they would 'refund' the extra charge directly onto my Amex card within 5 days. In the meantime I disputed the extra charge with Amex, who state that they have tried to contact the business for a refund but have gotten no response. Yesterday (10/24/13) I called the business, stating that my card had not yet been credited (NINE days after I went back to the store in person). The merchant stated that 'we have already credited you, just check your account.' I checked my Amex account TODAY 10/25/13, AND THE AMOUNT HAS NOT BEEN CREDITED. I think this merchant is intentionally double-charging customers; and even if they are not, why is it so difficult to get them to credit my card for the extra amount? This is outrageous, and I think it's a good example of 'predatory' behavior and unethical business practices.Desired Settlement: I would like my $267.76 refunded via credit on to my Amex credit card; and I would like this business to be sanctioned (or at least monitored) by Revdex.com for future unethical business practices like this.
