I would like to start by saying we are very sorry that a satisfactory agreement could not be reached with Ms***.? When She originally brought us the car on 7/5/we found a melted component inside the fuse box under the hoodThis melted component caused damage to the starter as wellWe
were made aware that the customer either did not have or did not want to spend much money as they had just purchased the Mercedes, as is, from a used car purveyor of some sortSo in order to keep the bill as low as possible, $369.06, we replaced the faulty fuse box and starter with used parts, and did not charge them for the hours of diagnostic time we had in the vehicleAfter those parts were replaced we were able to drive the car with no issue, as was the customer, admittedly only for a short time.? When the customer brought the car back after the she found that it would not start, we realized that the car had a myriad of issues with the electrical system, as well as the computer system in the carOften times electrical issues can cause many different parts of the vehicle to fail due to abvariation in electrical currentsAt this time we spent upwards of hours working on the car, doing diagnostic work, bringing in outside technicians to consult on the vehicle, replacing the fuse box a second time, as well as a few other partsAll the while being under the impression that the customer did not have the funds for the major repairs required to make the vehicle operable again anyway.? When the customer came over on August 29th we informed her that the car was still inoperable, and she decided she wanted to take the vehicle somewhere elseSince we did not finish the repairs necessary to make the car drivable we did not charge her for anything we had done since we had gotten it back for the second round of work, and we towed it to her home for freeWe did not refund her for the first repair because the car was operable When she drove it away from our shop, and since then we had put considerable resources into it that we were not asking to be paid for.? We felt that this arrangement was fair to the customer because the first time the car left our shop, it was fixedThe car did need the starter and fuse box replaced, and that was all she was charged forWe did not charge her for the many, many hours of work we put in to it subsequently or the parts we replaced during the second round of repairs? ?

Mr*** engine repair was a complicated affair throughout the entire processHis breakdown location being hours away from his home further complicated mattersFortunately we have since been able to resolve the issue with Mr*** by agreeing to refund him for his AC issues and his
alignmentI'm sure he will notify you of the same conclusion

I would like to start by saying we are very sorry that a satisfactory agreement could not be reached with Ms. [redacted]. When She originally brought us the car on 7/5/2016 we found a melted component inside the fuse box under the hood. were made aware that the customer either did not have or did not want to spend much money as they had just purchased the Mercedes, as is, from a used car purveyor of some sort. After those parts were replaced we were able to drive the car with no issue, as was the customer, admittedly only for a short time. When the customer brought the car back after the she found that it would not start, we realized that the car had a myriad of issues with the electrical system, as well as the computer system in the car. Often times electrical issues can cause many different parts of the vehicle to fail due to abnormal variation in electrical currents. At this time we spent upwards of 10 hours working on the car, doing diagnostic work, bringing in outside technicians to consult on the vehicle, replacing the fuse box a second time, as well as a few other parts. All the while being under the impression that the customer did not have the funds for the major repairs required to make the vehicle operable again anyway. When the customer came over on August 29th we informed her that the car was still inoperable, and she decided she wanted to take the vehicle somewhere else. Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  While the resolution states that they issued a refund for the alignment, that's not accurate.  The agreement was only for the air conditioner.  That's the original proposition I made to them before I filed the complaint: they take care of the air, and I take care of the alignment.  After filing the Revdex.com complaint, Tim's was quick to respond and offer the refund for the air conditioner, an act for which I am grateful.
