To whom it may concern, [redacted] contacted our office to get insurance for transporting freight We reached out to our broker relationships and Griffin Underwriting decided to place insurance for the client [redacted] paid in full for the whole year of $11,After binding coverage eff 8/12/16, the client wanted a filing done which we contacted Griffin Underwriting to do for us We can't do filings, only the underwriter and the company can do that for the client We thought the filing would be done promptly To our surprise, our underwriter at the time didn't do it We left numerous voicemails on her office phone, sent numerous emails to her, finally talking to her and she still kept NOT doing the filing for the client We later found out that she was terminated from her employment However during that time, the client was unhappy and decided to cancel He signed the cancellation form effective 1/18/ Griffin Underwriting gave them a prorated refund of $5,We talked to Griffin again after the refund was sent to the client, telling the situation and asking for more refund for the client and Griffin declined our request I even asked my District Manager to see if there was anything more I could have done, and he said there wasn't I am unhappy that Griffin and Scottsdale didn't do the filing for [redacted] Sincerely yours, Tina M [redacted]
