Dear [redacted] , Thank you for your letter, as we are taking your complaint as a way on how we as a business can improveIt is very unfortunate that your coat was ruined, and it is understandable that you would get distressed and angry about thisWe apologize about how we handled the affair unprofessionallyThe stain was in fact due to the leather trim, and the worn out buckle must’ve been affected for some reason that we can only assumeYou already knew that cleaning this white trench coat was not going to be easy based on your statement, “ this is a tricky cleaning.” So please take this into considerationYou already knew that it would not be easy, and implied that you understood the risks involved with cleaning this coatThe end result was obviously not what you wanted, but you still took the riskAfter the situation we discussed it with our employees, and we concluded that the white trench coat was in the same conditions that it was already in when you made the request for it to be cleanedAt the same time, the coat appeared to have been cleaned more than one time, which you can see from the worn out tag (the tag inside the coat with instructions on how to clean it), which could’ve affected the coat if not cleaned properlyHowever it is possible that the winter season has affected the coat due to snow or rain as wellSince you requested the cleaning on June **, and picked it on September **, (three months after the initial purchase), we are not held responsible for any shrinkage, fading, trimmings, buckles, shoulder pads, beads, belts or buttons after daysThis policy of ours can be seen on the bottom of the ticket that you received and acceptedWe regret that you were not satisfied with our service, and we will not be paying your white trench coat, but we will give it to you back for freeThe buckles that you complained about that were worn out have been replaced, but we were unable to fix the leather stain

I visited the cleaner last night and was told the they did not do anything for the coat stain as they can't do anything about itI consulted my friends who had the similar situation, they resolved the matter by either dying the clothes to darker color or receiving monetary compensationTio's Laundromat cannot do either of them, and I still have not received the coat back.

Dear Revdex.com,Here is my clarification.To be honest, the answer Tio's gave is an insultHere the actual text of their response so as not to be taken out of context: "Everything else is in good condition, besides the small discoloring on the leather trimming that we were unable to restoreEven though it’s still there, it shouldn't hinder you from wearing the coat, considering that it still serves its main purpose in keeping you warmPlus the discoloring isn’t so severe that it would cause the coat to be unwearable."Let me start with each statement."Everything else is in good condition, besides the small discoloring on the leather trimming that we were unable to restore."The cleaners told me they can't dye it darkerIt's not a complicated fabricOf course it can be dyed. This is the statement that causes me the most frustration, and I am being kind with the word "frustration" here:"Even though it’s still there, it shouldn't hinder you from wearing the coat, considering that it still serves its main purpose in keeping you warm." This is a slap in the faceDoes this mean I can bring a coat in, and if it keeps me warm after I get it back, I should be happy? I didn't take the coat in because it wasn't keeping me warmI took it in to be cleaned, and it came back with stains and damageIf they spray painted colors all over the coat and rubbed grease and dirt into it, it would still keep me warm. And they followed up with this for good measure:Plus the discoloring isn’t so severe that it would cause the coat to be unwearable."There was no discoloring there when I took the coat inI didn't take my business to Tio's to have them discolor my coat.This casual dismissal of my concerns takes customer relations to a new lowHow many unsuspecting customers will it take for them to wake up to their responsibility as a reliable business?Best regards,*** ***

Here is my response to the business
In response to your reply, I wish to differ with your assessmentI never said I would take a riskI told your employee to pay attention to the leather trim and be careful, and he said they will take care of itThat does not constitute consenting to a riskThe coat is not in the same condition that I left it inIt is damaged now when it was not beforeThis is not an old or worn coat as you claim.
Your response offers a list of maybes as to why the coat came back in a different and worse (i.eruined) condition than I left it in your careThis is not acceptableYou tell me you are taking this as a learning experience and then you proceed to tell me this is all my faultYour customer service is far from professional, and the end result of your work ruined my coatYou offer no remedies other than to blame me and tell me you will consent to give me my coat back.
I want my coat repaired in wearable condition or an adequate remedy made
I would also like to add that closing a case in days seems awfully hasty on your partPlease let me know what my options are for reopening this case as soon as possible
