I had dollars in my bankI ordered a pair of shorts off ebay for dollars then my bank said I had in there I bought something for and was charged an overdraft fee of There is no reason I should have been charged because if you see my transcations on my account it shows after the shorts came off I had left and then was charged the overdraft fee with funds still in the account

This Credit Union is dirtyI got notices in the mail today (5/16) stating since I hadn't used my account in months they charged me a dormant fee and took everything ($7.50) but $This is absolutely dirty, I never get statements so it's not costing them nothing and do this crapThey should have sent a letter telling me if I don't use the account I will be charged but instead they just take the few dollars I hadI spoke with someone on the phone at the Credit Union and she said I would have been given the fee schedule when I opened my account and they send them in the mail tooI opened this account in and never remembered nothing about this fee years laterI've never gotten anything in the mail from them, not even a statement so my account wasn't costing them nothingThey will charge this $fee every month unless the account is used so therefore I'll be going to the local branch to close it

I had an account with this bank that I opened when I was a kidI used it frequently and then moved across the country to *** *** where I opened an account with *** *** ***I tried to close my account with Freedom First in but keep an IRA openThey also kept a checking account open and it had a ccent overdrawI was told in when I paid to close the account that this would remove the account from my credit history as wellThey did not do thatFurther, the responded to both letters with supporting evidence of the fact that I had tried to close, and had assumed the account was closed, by rejecting the letterThey also rejected a good will letterI do not think it is good for the community for them to prevent someone from having a decent credit score - necessary for things like buying a house - for a cent overdraw on an account from when they were a kid that they had tried to close

On Saturday, January 20th a mobile deposit was madeWe received an email stating that it was being processed and if there were any issues or holds, we would be notified by text or emailAfter hours we had not received either and got groceries and gas
By Monday we had been charged two overdraft fees in the amount of $and $
After contacting the bank several times it seems there was confusion with how many checks were deposited (we were told two had been deposited) and "both checks were on hold." And there was an initial $deposited the day of the mobile deposit, another $deposited Monday and the rest was held until the 24thThe representative said this was the reason we were charged overdraft feesYet, we were never notified of a hold via text or email, not even on Monday or Tuesday(Below is the email received.)

I’ve called about my account twiceYesterday I was told “well it’s our system and it’s always been this way.” No it hasn’t!! When a finacial institution decides you can’t access the money in your account ?

This place is ok if you live in the roanoke valley and don't care about the connivence of atms, helpful branch clerks, or your bank loyaltyBut if you happen to move out of the area LEAVE THIS BANK AT ONCE!!!! I had my account stolen after moving out and was told by one of their "help" techs that my best choice was to close the account and go to another bankThis btw, is after being a customer for 4+ yearsSuch fantastic customer service I can hardly contain myself!

I had been in contact with Freedom First, they know they will be receiving payoff amount from ** ***I also briefly spoke to Revdex.com a few weeks agoI received a letter(5/22) that Freedom First will issue a warrent for my arrest for being three months behind

Freedom First charge me all my balance on my checking account without notifying me
They said my account is "dormant"But, it's professional and required to send customer a mail before freeze their account, and charge the dormant fee
I was using freedom first for almost years, and has never heard of dormant fee
The interesting part is: when I call them to ask about the dormant fee, and they said they will file a case for meThe customer service ask me not to close my account while they are doing research, otherwise, I cannot get my money backHowever, I got an email immediately from freedom first to ask me fill an form, in order to close my accountThis is not a nice way to do business and treat customer's complaint

My complaint is about the way FFCU handled the fraud protection this past 12/24/17.I called them and told them I would be going to *** ** for the holidays and would like my account to remain open.I was told to use the CARD VALET and for 12/through 12/23/i had no problems using my card in the South *** area.However, 12/24/I made purchases at *** in South *** and when I got to the University area of ***, my card immediately declined even though there were more than enough funds to cover my purchases at *** and *** ***.I called FFCU upon my return home and was told that *** and *** *** both had identified their stores as "high risk" and at any given time would deline cards.I called *** *** and was told they had never heard of this and they don't decline cards as "high risk!" I could not get in touch with ***.With this being said, I know FFCU controls my card but if you give me a avenue to use and it works, why DECLINE my card in
