For almost years now we have been trying to get this company to honour their much extolled warrantyWhen we first noticed that we had a problem with our laminate floor they sent a team to remove baseboards and do what they felt they had to do to remediate the problemThis process did not work and a number of months later they repeated the processThis time the baseboards were stacked in the house for over a month at great inconvenience to us although we did not complainUltimately this attempt at fixing the floor did not resolve the problemWalking on the floor was like walking in rice crispiesThe company asked the manufactures repto visit*** ***
Subsequent to this, Tip Top hired an independent flooring inspector to study the issueWhen we asked for a copy of the report, we were denied accessThis in itself speakes volumesLast June I met with the manager and I was assured that they would make one more attempt to fix the problem and if that did not work they would replace the floorAfter many attempts to reach Tip Top, they refused my calls
I am astonished that a company can operate in this mannerEvery person that Tip Top Carpet One involed in the issue agreed that there is a serious problemThere has been no resolution to our problem and it looks like we will have to replace the floor ourselvesThere is no fine print to the warranty, they just do not honour them
