The bank's compliance officer reviewed the insufficient funds charges that were assessed against Ms. [redacted] account and found them to be permitted by law and the deposit account contract. However, since Ms. [redacted] was in the process of moving out of state and moving her account as well, we offered to refund the $89.94 in fees she mentioned in the complaint after receipt of payment of $39.95 for the transactions that triggered the insufficient funds charges. After payment is received from Ms. [redacted] the fees will be refunded, the account will be brought to a zero balance, and reported as paid to Chex Systems. Ms. [redacted] agreed to send payment for the transactions and indicated that she was satisfied with the complaint resolution offer and outcome.
