On Tuesday April 28thI spoke with the insurance adjuster assigned to this claim (*** ***).I have confirmed that all of the funds have been dispersedI also spoke withthe homeowner’s mortgage company on Tuesday as well, and received the sameconfirmationWe, at no time, were contracted by the insurance companyWe werehired solely by the homeownerThis is clearly stated in the insurance claimpacket from State Farm which I’ve attachedFurthermore, the adjuster alsoinformed me that he explained this to the homeowner as wellState farm hadpaid out a total of $after, subtracting the deductible from the claim. Our total contracted price was $10,Additionally, the homeowner and Mr.*** agreed in the contract to replace the venting underneath the eaves (soffits),which was not part of the insurance claimThis is where the balance isshowingMy concern is not only has the balance been do long before any issueswith the deck occurred, more than that, the homeowner is failing to acknowledgethe balance It is apparent that there was a miscommunication on how the deck product was chosenThe specifications for Deck restore say nothing about being used on decks under a year oldRegardless, Dynamic is and has always been willing to address it The customer has always been able to contact meI have responded to every phonecall throughout this timeFurthermore I contacted his insurance on numerous occasionsto try to resolve this.We propose two potentialsolutions to consider this matter closed:Customercan pay 75% of the remaining balance which is $902.00($675.00)And Dynamicwill prep the deck surface, apply 10x Deck Restore or a comparable product. Remainder of balance to be paid uponcompletionMaking clear that Dynamic will in no way warranty Deck RestoreDueto the class action suit.Customercan take remaining balance and hire another contractor to rectify his issueswith the product/deck.Attached are copies of the contract, State Farm's policy regulation, and Deck Restore specification for reference

Dynamic Remodel & Repair contracted with Mr*** toperform several exterior remodeling projects on his home due to the Hail damagein May of As part of the contract, the customer requested that weresurface his deck with a product that he had selectedA brochure that
Mr.*** had in his possession was given to our representative with the colorselected and circled in penOur representative was not familiar with theproduct, but agreed to have our painter apply itUpon completion of allcontracted work there remained a balance owed for the entire project that the homeownerwas and has always been aware of this factWe were asked to wait for paymentby Mr*** because he stated that he did not have the funds to pay thebalanceWe were very patient and flexible in regards to this final paymentAfter numerous attempts to collect the balance from the endof November until the beginning of February we have been unsuccessful as ofthis dateI was first informed of the decking issue at the end of January.Dynamic and its Representatives communicated with the homeowner on multipleoccasionsDuring these contacts our representatives explained that afterresearching the product selected by Mr*** , there was a class action lawsuitfor defective materials against the manufacturer Also after constant communication, I agreed tomeet the homeowner to look at the issues on Monday, February 9th,despite a past due balanceI arrived at his home at 4pm which we agreedupon. After knocking and waiting for 45minutes I leftI called Mr*** and was told he thought we were supposedto be meeting at his officeWhy would we be meeting at his office to look athis deck issue? Clearly he had nointention of meeting with me since he wasn’t going to pay his balanceWe havealways maintained that upon payment ofpast due balance we would be more than happy to help resolve the problem withhim, despite the fact that we don’t warranty any products not recommended byour companyIn regards to any other issues this is the first I amhearing about themI stand by and maintain that I am still more than happy toaddress Mr***‘s needs, when past due balance is received

Dynamic remodel did a fantastic job on my new roofThe staff were respectful, cleanup after themselvesThey started and finished on time as promisedI would not hesitate using this company for further projectsIts good to know there are still honest contractor like this still around

Dynamic recently replaced our roofWe are very pleased with the service, pricing and overall management of the projectI would highly recommend them to others

After getting several roofing estimates, I decided to go with Dynamic because Philip D[redacted] was very friendly and he took the time to explain all the work needed in detail for a reasonable price. They replaced my roof in one day and I was very pleased with their work. The Dynamic team was punctual, courteous and cleaned up the work site thoroughly. I will recommend Philip and his Dynamic crew to anyone needing roofing repairs/replacement.

The company was very easy to work with from start to finish. Pricing was very competitive and was the best price out of three other companies, by far. I researched the shingle company and its products were high quality and came with a strong warranty. Dynamic is listed as a shingle master company on the shingle company website. The installers were professional and responsive to my questions. There is a lot of noise out there when looking for companies, Dynamic was great. I have already referred them to family and coworkers and will receive a referral bonus. Well done, Dynamic!

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I would like to address some incorrect information from the business' response. First, we did not select the product. The contractor's representative, [redacted], gave us the brochure and asked us to pick colors. We did not suggest the product, rather he suggested it as an alternative to refinishing the deck. It wasn't until there were issues with the product that the representative handed me a stack of comments from a blog that he got from a Google search, which he also printed. In addition to not requesting the product and not being made aware of any potential issues, the subcontractor applied the product on days when it rained in the afternoon, did not power-wash the deck ahead of time (which I asked about and was told it was not necessary), nor did he use the correct type of product. He used 4X for new decks, but he should have used 10X for decks over 1yr. old. As far as meeting on February 9, the meeting was supposed to be about acquiring the funds from State Farm, as well as discussion about the deck and other items. We had been meeting at my work for the previous several encounters and there was no reason to expect otherwise, nor was there any discussion of stopping by the home. This is where his communication ended, unless prompted by me. Finally, in answer to the non-payment of balance, the insurance company (State Farm) has requested documentation form the business that all work was completed in order to release the balance. I signed the paperwork upon meeting Mr. [redacted] and was under the impression that is was handled. According to the insurance rep, they have not received anything. Also, I am unclear as to what is exactly left as a balance. I have not received any information on the amount past due. So far, they have received $9,998.86. I have never received an itemized breakdown as requested several times, nor have they made an effort to recover the money from the insurance company as requested by State Farm. I am not looking for anything extravagant, nor do I expect the "extras that will make our house a 'showplace'" as promised by Mr. [redacted] (e.g., clean and fix window screens, paint exterior doors, gutter guards, and many other items). I just want our deck repaired. I do not think it is too much to ask to have this job done correctly. I hope this clears up an issues or misunderstandings and I look forward to the business fulfilling their obligation.
Regards,

I really enjoyed working with Dynamic. They installed new siding and a roof and the workmanship was excellent. I would highly recommend them.

My husband and I used Dynamic Remodel and Repair to replace our roof which had seen a lot of wear and tear. [redacted], the owner, met with us to go over the choices available for all aspects of the job. Not only are the shingles important, but so are the decking condition, water shield, drip edge, ridge vent, flashing, and cap shingles, to name just a few. He explained all of this, left us with informative literature to read, and references with whom we could check on the performance and efficiency of the company. We received an estimate for the entire job which we felt was more than fair. We were not pressured to make a decision. We decided to go ahead with the project which was scheduled to be a 2-day job. Since the second day of the two day project was forecast to be snowy and rainy, five of the company's workers were sent to our house where they worked from 8 am to 6 pm in order to complete the job in one day. Perhaps this was aided by the fact that we only needed four sheets of decking replaced instead of a larger percent of the roof's decking. The men cleaned up completely and the dumpster was removed two business days later. [redacted] came out to oversee the progress both on the day of the roof replacement and the next day to check to make sure that the clean up was completely accomplished.
The only snag was an electrical outlet that provided power to the attic ventilation fan (which was removed and replaced with an ridge vent) and the garage door opener which was damaged in the roof removal process. Dynamic had an independent electrician out to our home at 8:30 am the next day to repair the outlet so our garage door would continue to work.
We cannot say enough good things about our experiences with Dynamic and [redacted]. We received a quality job at a reasonable price performed by competent workers who took pride in the job itself as well as the clean up. We are extremely pleased with the result!

Dynamic Remodeling built a deck for me in a needed short period of time. The response was prompt and efficient. The staff and workers were professional, polite and pleasant. and they cleaned up in a timely fashion when the project was complete. The workmanship is great! I will recommend others call this company to others.

We called Dynamic Remodel because we saw them put a new roof on our neighbor's home and did a quick and fantastic job. When we called them for an estimate on our roof, they immediately called us back to set up an appointment right away. [redacted] was professional in every way and we got our new roof in one day! They also repaired sun porch walls with new insulation and siding as well as installed new windows in our basement. We are extremely pleased with the service, and end result and would recommend that anyone needing these services, call Dynamic Remodel!

Great customer service, highest quality materials, and competitive pricing. Job was scheduled quickly and completed ahead of schedule. Overall completely satisfied.
