Thank you for reaching out to me about this complaint. After further evaluation of the customer's service appointment with us I have determined that we should not have charged the customer for the work that didn't rectify the problem A check refund in the amount of $has been mailed to the customer as of 12/4/2017.We did recommend that multiple outlets be repaired as they were improperly installed and that was the cause for the burning of the outlets that we replaced Even though the outlets we replaced were bad, burnt and needed replaced to function, there still was a problem above and beyond the outlets that wasn't resolved Therefore I have deemed that we should have not charged the customer since the customer decided not to proceed with all of our recommended work.Hopefully this brings the customer to full satisfaction.Thank you[redacted]

Thank you for reaching out to us about this complaint. We have been in communication with the customer about her concerns multiple times since her installation of a new furnace and air conditioner. On January 29th we sent the customer an e-mail explaining the Xcel Energy rebate
process. I've attached the email correspondence. The customer also was informed on the contract, that she signed, about the Xcel rebate process. I've attached the invoice as well. Ken K*** is one of the owners of the company as well as Phillip E***. We have reached out to the customer and have set two appointments to address the humidifier and to fix the electrical so that it passes inspection. As for the work our master electrician told the journeyman electrician that did the work in the crawl space to not use a GFI outlet as if the GFI ever trips the customer will need to enter the crawl space to reset the GFI so the humidifier can run again. Although the current code requires a GFI outlet this situation of the unit being in the crawl space is not good to use a GFI. But because the inspector wants a GFI we will install the GFI outlet. All of these inspection corrections have been and will not be a charge to the customer. The customer also signed acknowledging that there would be no charges for the inspection corrections on the invoice. The customer also signed that the permit can take up to days or more to obtain. We did however obtain the permit way under days. Once the customer expressed her frustration about having a subcontractor do the electrical work for the air conditioner and humidifier we scheduled to have our master electrician help. Bill our master electrician had surgery on his back the week before and was not able to perform the work in the crawl space but did however oversee the work done by Ben one of our journeyman electricians. Yesterday Ken reached out to the customer and the customer responded as satisfied with our resolution to her concerns. Thank you. Phillip E***

I am rejecting this response because: I can't see the attachments uploaded however I can assure you that I have NEVER received an email specific to the Xcel rebate process. I was told verbally that the refund takes to weeks to process. that the furnace rebate will come first and then in the spring the AC rebate will come. However, I just spoke with Xcel Energy and they went back on my account and have advised since 1/1/they have received NO documentation for either rebate. They did advised that alot of the time that the installers will submit both at one time however nothing has been received! I am not debating the contract. I know what I signed. What I am saying is that there are some business processes that are not adding up. It doesn't take days in Lakewood to get a permit. The inspection process is what can take up to days (especially in Denver) however there is no delay in Lakewood inspections. The master electrician should know what the code is and the work should have been done right the first time. The bottom line, is that I have had trouble getting returned phone calls and straight answers from Tipping HatAs well, they do not follow up when they should (i.ecalling me proactively when inspections fail or apparently filing the rebate request with Xcel Energy.)
Sincerely,

Dear Revdex.com, The client signed a contract and gave a deposit to move forward with a bathroom remodel Tipping Hat did the remodel and went to review the work and collect the remaining balance with the customer The customer didn't show and since has communicated via email that she has
been very dissatisfied with the remodel After attempting resolution neither party could agree to what was fair and so we wanted to wash our hands of the project by refunding all her monies paid to date That totals $15, The client agreed to the terms but wanted to see the release of liability agreement before receiving the refund I have attached the refund and release of liability agreement Since we performed the work but the customer was not satisfied and a resolution could not be met, in consideration of the refund of all the monies paid the customer would need to release our company from any liability with this project Once the agreement is executed by the client the refund will be processed.Thank you for your consideration. Tipping Hat
