Review: I went to Tips & Toes Nail Salon in Carmichael, the week of August 25, 2014. I paid $40.00 for a full set of quality, gel prosthetic nails. I was told it would last a month, and longer then acrylic nails, which is two weeks. However, within one week my nails were detaching and coming unglued. I needed to return to the nail salon, so I could have them add glue to secure the nails on(not a fill). I have a 9 month old baby, and a 8 year old daughter, with no easy access to a babysitter, which is why I had to wait a little longer, to call Tips & Toes for my nails to be fixed.I called into Tips & Toes on September 5th and spoke with employee [redacted]. I asked for an appointment to get my nails fixed. She asked what kind of nail treatment I received. I told her I paid $40.00 for gel, the highest quality." She kept trying to arguing with me, and I told her, "I don't think you understand." She took things personally, did not continue to listen to my concern, and refused to set my appointment.I am appauled with the unexcusable customer service, and very disappointed with the quality of product I paid for. When I was told it would last longer, and I paid a lot for the full set of gel material, which only lasted a week. I was not asking for her to do an hour or even thirty minutes of work. I didn't have the chance to inform her that I only wanted glue, to connect to my nails because she kept talking and yelling over me. she had gone to far, without listening to my concern, and denied my help for service.Ethically, this is wrong, and financially I was taken advantge of. I will not return to Tips & Toes, however, the nail techs need more training, materials need to be inspected, and [redacted] needs education in professionalism. Thank you for your time.Connie DruryDesired Settlement: Request:1. Ensure the nail techs understand the accurate process of performance and knowledge of material.2. Inspect solutions and materials, for use of business.3. Have a strong dialogue with the employee Lynn, regarding professional communication skills, and the consequences of unacceptable behavior with consumers.
