car crash. The technician that did the work was also at the counter when the car was dropped off for several hours while he left with his wife so he had the chance to talk to the customer as well. We wondered why the dealer was going to charge so much for an alignment, so just in case the parts were bent we didn't charge for the work done, till we could be sure the job was done well. The car was test driven a few times because after the first try, it still pulled a small amount on local roads. On the second attempt we took it on the highway to make sure it was a level road and the job came out perfect. The technician that did the job over heard the customer explain that the car was in an accident so he made the mistake of assuming the customer was aware of the large crack in the windshield. He did see it before taking the car into the shop but did not report it. This gentleman called the police andreported the car had been vandalized. Once the officer arrived and told the customer it was a civil cor issue the customer exclaimed the car was stolen and driven without his consent. The officer was baffled by this and asked if he handed us the keys. He admitted to handing us the key so the officer was assured it was not stolen. The cameras do not show the crack in the windshield even when you can see it in person so that does not help, but you can see that it was not hit by anything or any person the entire time it was in our care.
