Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: the clutch fan was not the cause of the noise or the power lossThe vehicle is still having the same problem Sincerely, [redacted]

We understand that ***'s Trailblazer was not repaired to her satisfaction. This vehicle has many issues and pinpointing and repairing only the one that she specified was the misunderstanding here, not the repairs we made. The clutch fan was exceptionally noisy and for her to say otherwise is ridiculous. That being said, due to a lack of step by step documentation and mainly because we want to keep our good rating with the Revdex.com we would agree to waive the labor fee on this job. The cost of parts is more than *** thinks. The total cost of the repair was $parts on her vehicle, it was $and labor at $plus local state tax. She has paid $toward the bill. If she agrees to pay the remaining $toward the cost of parts we would agree to waive the labor fees

I am rejecting this response because: the clutch fan was not the cause of the noise or the power loss. The vehicle is still having the same problem.

[redacted] had her boyfriend [redacted] drop her Trailblazer off complaining about a whining noise and stating her vehicle had less power than normal.  [redacted] stated that he and [redacted] knew vehicle has multiple issues that need repair but only wanted the minimum repair performed so vehicle...

could be driven.  Upon bringing her Trailblazer into the shop the first thing that was confirmed failed was her fan clutch.  It was failed to the point it was off the bearings and was making a horrendous noise.  It was making so much noise no other failed components could be heard and we thought it was the noise the customer was referring to.  It appeared to be tearing itself apart internally which is very dangerous.  We called the number provided by [redacted] when he dropped the vehicle off and explained to him we need to repair this component before any further diagnostic could be performed and explained if it were to fail it was dangerous.  We also explained at this point that although it could be robbing some horsepower from the engine since it was being turned with dry bearings, we would need to diagnose further after it was replaced.  [redacted] approved the work on their vehicle.  Once the repair was completed the vehicle still had various noises from failed components, but the biggest noise had been repaired.  The vehicle also appeared to drive better than when it had been dropped off and we felt confident we had repaired the vehicle to the customer's satisfaction.  This vehicle had many other repairs that need to be performed but the customer was adamant that they only wanted the bare minimum repairs performed so the vehicle could be driven.  [redacted] came to pick up the Trailblazer and we were surprised that he returned with it shortly after leaving, stating it was better but was still under power compared to weeks prior.  We had our technician take the vehicle for a drive at that time and he came back stating that the catalytic converter had a restriction which we told [redacted] we could repair as well, but he did not want to have done because the cost was too high.  He stated at that time he knew how to take care of a clogged catalytic converter himself.  We repaired a concern on [redacted] Trailblazer that fit the description it was dropped off for, explaining along the way that this vehicle has many issues still unresolved, and while we were able to inform the customer about those issues, they opted to repair only the first issue we found due to money constraints.

Review: In June of 2013 I purchased tires from the Tire Store. When I purchase the tires I put money down and was advised that my payments would be $124 and some change on a monthly basis for 12-months at which time the total of time would be paid. I purchased my tires for a set price and in May of 2014 I made my last payment to the tire store as the amount that I was quoted and the price that I was to be charged was paid off. I continue to receive calls from the Tire Store stating that I owe them more money and that I need to pay. I get at least 2 calls a day monday - saturday. I have not spoken to them and I will not return their calls as believe they are trying to collect on something that is not owed to them. They have even gone as far as looking up my referrences on facebook and messing them as well as calling them continually. I wish for them to Cease and Desist all collection calls because as I dont owe them anything on my tires now they are harassing me.Desired Settlement: I wish them to stop contacting me as per my records I have paid my bill to a zero balance. If they feel that I owe them I please urge them to review their billing practices and also my payments. If I receive further notification from them I will contact a lawyer as again they are now harassing me.

Response:

The Tire Store is most willing to review all payments and remaining balance with [redacted]. The Tire Store has had no requests for account balance review from [redacted] and the account is currently in "skip" status as The Tire Store has been unable to contact [redacted]. The Tire Store's computer accounting of the account shows partial and late payments along with a returned check, which may not have been taken into account by [redacted].

Review: I had to have my car towed and fixed on Sunday, May 21. They fixed it on Monday, May 22. I paid the bill of $640 and figured everything was taken care of. On Thursday, May 25, my car quit again and after a full day of not finding the problem, it was finally diagnosed on May 26. I am being told that I may not get this today and also that will have to pay $171 more. I feel that this company is not listening to me because of my being a female and single.Desired Settlement: What I would like is to see the Tire Store make this right with me and not charge me for this. I would like to have $171 refunded and my inconvenience taken care of.
