Review: This company represents what the state of California has often been known for: incompetence, dishonesty, inexistent customer service, you name it. I am sure there are companies out there that still know how to treat the average American customer, but there are way too many that I came in contact with (directly or indirectly) who simply dont give a [redacted] and Tire&Wheel Zone is by far the worst Ive had the displeasure to deal with. After making dozens of phone calls around the country to find a specific set of wheels for my truck, I stumbled upon this website and I decided to give them a call. The guy who answered the phone (heavy Hispanic accent), told me that they had the wheels I was looking for in stock. This came as a big surprise considering that every major dealer in the nation told me that they were backordered till the end of December 2013 or later, but at the same time I was really excited that I finally found a store that carried them in their warehouse and could ship them out at once. I asked him to double check because the whole thing seemed a little too easy to me; so I went over EVERY detail about the wheels: brand, model, color (chrome), size and bold pattern. He confirmed that it was in stock. So I confirm the order and move on with the how to pay part. The website states that you can pay with 4 different credit cards, so I bust out my VISA and read my info over the phone with the clerk. Its only after reading the whole thing that he says we dont take credit cards. This of course set the tone for the rest of the conversation; apparently Mexico hasnt quite caught up with electronic payment methods. So I put my card away and asked can I pay via Paypal? The clerk replied in broken English well, the account is not working right now so I can only accept a cashiers check. The more time I spent on the phone with this individual, the more I felt like I was talking to some kid in God knows what place on earth. Reluctantly I decided to go to my bank and mail out a cashiers check. [redacted] I included in the note of the check itself all the details of the wheel so that there would be no mistakes [redacted]. This happened on a Friday morning. The check was mailed out through priority mail and yet I dont hear from this company at all for a few days. Come Wednesday (5 days after the check was mailed) I decide to call and check on the status of my order. The same clerk claims the check isnt there yet. So I call the following day and the check was in (6 days for a priority mail delivery.very credible). The same clerk I spoke to on the phone says now we have to wait and see if it clears, then well ship the wheels out. I made it clear that it was a cashiers check coming directly from Chase so they could ship the darn wheels out immediately. I dont hear from them for another 4 days. I call back the following Monday (well over 10 days from my check) and they havent shipped out yet. At this point I start getting angry and I demand an explanation. The clerk replies we only have the black ones in stock (which I had found weeks ago in my own town in Arizona). I specifically asked this same guy 3 times (+ the note on the check) for chrome wheels, not black. So after wasting 2 weeks of my time with this dumb individual who couldn't pour water out of a boot with instructions on the heel, I find myself with a new set of tires waiting to be installed at Discount Tire, and no wheels to put them onto. So I demand my check be mailed back immediately. He confirmed the check was going to be mailed out that same day (Monday Sep 23, 2013). Come Sep 27 the check is NOT in my mailbox yet. I call Tire & Wheel Zone again and he confirms that the check was mailed last Monday so it should be in my mailbox by tomorrow at the latest. Guess whattomorrow comesand no check. Today is October 1, 2013 and the check hasnt arrived yet. I called back the 24 cents short of a quarter guy and now he tells me that they mailed the check out yesterday (Sep 30, 2013). Needless to say I dont trust anything that comes out of this guys mouth (by the way his name is [redacted] so I am fairly certain I will never see my check again. At this point my attorney will get involved. This company should not only be taken down, but should be sued for every customer they screwed.

Product_Or_Service: 4 wheels for a Ford Super Duty

Order_Number: They never gave me o

Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Refund

I want my money back ($1,367) plus a reimbursement for the time and money I wasted because of the incompetence of these people. I spent $2,500 on tires that are sitting in a warehouse and that I cannot install.
