I took one of my vehicles to Tire World to get tires, an oil change and have a brake inspection doneThe people working in the place seemed nice and professionalWhen I brought the car in back in Jan 2016, they did a great job on the tires and oil changeHowever, they went as far as to say the brakes on the vehicle were goodI just purchased the vehicle and noticed the brake pedal was soft and the brakes weren't working very wellHence, me asking them to look at the brakesOver the last couple months, I have noticed the brakes have continued to decline and took it to a different shop to have them looked at, AGAINThe brakes were in horrible condition!!! The pads were gone, one of the drums was STUCK and wouldn't come off and the rear brakes were horrid as wellHow is it acceptable to allow someone to believe their brakes are OK when they are NOT even closeI found this to be completely shady and will NEVER return to this place for any work on my vehicles ever again

The Tire World on S [redacted] . in Colorado Springs charged me for $1,000 worth of work that they DIDN'T EVEN DO. I had to go back three times before I got my money back. This is as good as theft and I was going to call the police if I didn't get my money back. They charged me for lower control arms, control arm bushings, lower ball joints, a valve stem and tire pressure sensor that didn't work (They had to replace it again), and a full strut assembly when they only replaced the inner shock. Oh, and when I got my Jeep back the alignment was completely off and my steering wheel had to be turned to go straight. I also had a bad popping noise every time I turned my wheel which wasn't there when I brought it in. They charged me for brakes after they told me I didn't need them. They called me and said that I actually did need brakes and they would replace them for free because of the confusion. When I got my bill I noticed they DID charge me for brakes. I will never go here again.

they misalligned my girlfriends tires, tried to sell her aftermarket camber kits that she didn't need, then hit on mine with a hammer before they tried to sell me parts and services I didn't need

I TAKE MY VEHICLE INTO TIRE WORLD.
WHEN IT WAS FINISHED GO TO THE TRUCK AND NOTICE A MARK ON THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR WHICH WAS NOT THERE PRIOR TO THE SERVICE. I BROUGHT IT TO THE ASSITANT MANAGER AND SAID THEY WOULD TAKE CARE OF IT AND TAKE IT NEXT DOOR TO [redacted].WHEN I WENT OVER THERE THEY SAID THEY COULD DO IT BUT I WOULD HAVE TO LEAVE IT THERE THE WHOLE DAY FOR ONE MARK.. I TOLD THEM I COULDNT DO THAT WITH MY JOB AND PICKING UP MY GIRLS. I WENT WITH ANOTHER COMPANY THAT COULD DO IT IN 2 HOURS AND COME TO MY HOME.
THE BILL WAS $55.00 FROM THE PLACE TIRE WORLD SENT ME TO AND THE FINAL BILL WAS $150.00 WITH THE PERSON I WENT WITH.
KEN TELLS ME WE WONT PAY THE FULL AMOUNT ONLY THEAMOUNT [redacted] GAVE ME I STATED I COULD NOT LEAVE MY TRUCK THERE THE WHOLE DAY AND IT WAS A INCONVENICE TO ME HE SAID DOSENT MATTER. I CALLED THE GENERAL MANAGER AND TOLD HIM ABOUT IT AND HE SAID THAT HE SPOKE WITH BOTH MANAGERS AND SAID THE

I took my car in for alignment and oil change and was informed that they could not do the alignment without 1st replacing the inner and outer tie rod ends. Also they said that I needed new rear brake pads, but that the rotors were shot and would need to be replaced. Total = $750. I decided to take the car to a mechanic that I trust (Tire World is close to my work and convenient to walk). He told me that there is no problem with the tie rods and that the rotors are actually in good shape. The only thing that was true was the wear on the pads. Women, don't think that you are the only ones getting ripped off for auto repair.
