Tires and Wheels Reviews (5)

The prices of this shop are the draw. The service at this shop is terrible, not from the tire techs, but the management. One female "owner", as she styled her self, berated me in front of other customers and employees for asking a tech a question regarding a service that I had done. Her and I got into an exchange during which her true racist colors showed. "Get your black [redacted] out of here" "Leave monkey" were amongst words and phrases uttered by her. The crowd was a diverse group of men women and children of varying races and ages. She even went so far as to call the police, whom I waited for and when he showed up, he (also white) had to tell her to shut up so he and I could talk. In the end the officer shook my hand and we had a brief laugh at the woman's expense. I have no quarrel with the employees of the shop, but if management and owners are willing to speak to customers in disrespectful fashions such as this, it's obvious we mean little and less to them. This woman was a perfect example of how not to treat people.

Review: On Monday Feb 16th 2015, I entered Tires and Wheels to repair my right front tire which had gone flat , by Wed Feb. 18th while driving to work I noticed my left front tire was deflating. I Immediately repaired this tire at another tire shop and the back two tires as well, by the end of that day I then noticed that the front right tire replaced by Tires and Wheels had gone completely flat. I then had to pay for towing services to be taken to the nearest tire shop for repairs where I was informed by the worker that the tire placed by Tires and Wheels was the wrong size and that is why it deflated so quickly and also was the reason why my left tire was starting to deflate. After the right size tire was put on I drove back to Tires and Wheels to let them know the wrong size was put on, I spoke with [redacted] and he proceeded to admit that the tire used was a "throw away" tire and should not have been used in the first place. He however refuses to give me my money back for their faulty services. I am here asking now for the money spent on towing and having my tire replaced three times due to Tires and Wheels Faulty workDesired Settlement: Reimbursement for the for the changing my tires three times and towing fees. totaling up to $200.00

Review: Discount mom and pop store. $320 [redacted] tires ([redacted] 100 each btw) to include a tpm for my 09 [redacted] and alignment.

Paid in advance. .. come 2 days later to be told there is "no record" anywhere. Hop online to my bank account and show the withdrawal. Says it'll come that afternoon (Thursday) explain I will be at work and will come on Saturday. I come. Sensor put on but tpm still reading fault. Get told they brouggt it to ford dealership and there is a recall.... except that a month ago I was at dealership for keys; vin was cked for recalls. There were none. Called them out on it; a "friend" works for ford and said x y and z. Waited 45 min aftwr that for someone to ve free to align the car; while they service every tom dick and harry that wants a tire.

1045-130. "You look mad". Explain why and get told not to have work done on a sat. I took the keys; drove and my wheel is off to the left. Pulling real bad. My alignment paper says 09 [redacted] awd which is wrong- mine is fwd so they didn't use my car. Ended up going straight to [redacted]. They aligned and the numbers were completely different than what they have. To boot- noticed a weird sound when turning left- [redacted] says that the hubs and seals will need to be replaced- $894.

The tpm? They put a non compatible sensor on my car. They offer no cash refunds and they are very unprofessional with all matters. They knew what they were doing and deserve to be investigated for this- thinking that they will pull one over on a female.Desired Settlement: Looking online- tires bought and mounted at [redacted]: 101 x2- I paid 320.

Sensor that they were supposed to get: 89

Realignment at [redacted]: 30- they discounted as I was inconsolable

Huv and seal repair at certified and mutually agreeable shop for hub and seals; per [redacted] can be it putting wheel on wrong that has started the early process of it beeding repair- 894 for negligence

Total: 1129. I did not price the most expensive and looked at cheaper prices. The only qoute that includes labor is the 894.

A simple

Review: sold me a brand new tire with a rip in the beam and tried to cover it with b sealant but eventually it would not hold up. I got a flat a week later and a 250 dollar tow. when I went back they did nothing about I was to blame and they are not responsible.Desired Settlement: I would like a check mailed to me for what I paid for the tire.

Review: I purchased brand new tires from Tires and Wheels on April 28, 2015. On August 14, 2014 I had to have a wheel hub replaced, due to high torque pounds done by tires and wheels. The mechanic doing the repairs on my wheel hub could not remove my wheel locks because of the 180lbs torque, which is only suppose to be torqued at 100lbs. My mechanic took my truck to another shop who also tried and said its too tight and can not get the locks off. I called Tires and Wheels and told them what was happening and they told me they can get it off bring the truck to them. The same day my brother took the truck to tires and wheels and they also had a hard time and then proceeded to take a blow torch to my rim (which I have a photo of them doing so) to get the lock off and in the process ruined my factory rim. I also have a picture of the damage. A reputable business would never allow a repeat customer to take their vehicle off the lot with damages done by their business. After I cooled off over the weekend I remembered I had a factory rim on my spare tire under the truck and when I was going to switch the rims on August 17, 2015 found a non-factory rim on my spare! When I purchased my tires from them I had asked them to plug my spare which was flat and I believe that they kept my stock rim. I will also proceed with a complaint to repairs and dealers and contacting local news channels.Desired Settlement: I am looking for Tires and Wheels to pay for the damaged wheel hub due too over torquing and also for the damages they did to my stock rim. I have no proof about the spare rim so I can not proceed on that matter.
