When the vehicle was towed to our shop it did not start or run so we had no way of knowing what the running condition wasAfter extensive diagnostic tests it was determined that the distributor was badWe were given the ok to replace the distributor and did soAfter the distributor was replaced the vehicle started and ran but had a separate misfire issueI told them that further diagnosis would have to be doneThey declined to have that done stating they shouldn’t have to pay for thatI recommended starting with a basic tune up and they declined to have us quote thatWe spent over hours on this vehicle and only billed for hour to replace the distributorI think our charges were more then fair for the work we performedWith the vehicle not starting we would not know that it wasn’t running good and could not say that it would just by replacing the distributor

the vehicle started and ran but had a separate misfire issue. I told them that further diagnosis would have to be done. They declined to have that done stating they shouldn’t have to pay for that. I recommended starting with a basic tune up and they declined to have us quote that. We spent over 4 hours on this vehicle and only billed for 1 hour to replace the distributor. I think our charges were more then fair for the work we performed. With the vehicle not starting we would not know that it wasn’t running good and could not say that it would just by replacing the distributor.
