I'm sorry this happened to youOf course if there was something we overlooked and the tires are unsafe we should swap them outI would first need to know what size they were to see if we have replacementsFor a refund sight unseen I would prefer to see something from the shop that you went toI
will do my best to help you get this fixed. *** ***

When *** let us know there was an issue with her purchase, the first thing we did was swap out the tiresShe was not happy with the first set, so we changed themThere was no mention of the pulling, only that the vehicle was shaking and noisy (of course mud tires are not the smoothest ride)At
that time, we did not find a bent rim, which would have been obvious when we balanced the new tiresThe alignment checked out good as wellI am told the vehicle was later taken to Truck City Ford, where they do lifts on trucks, and the employees there said our work was done correctlyMarch *** came back, and now mentions the pullingWe found the bent rim and rotated it to the rear, explaining that the wheel must have been bent some time in the last couple of months (after purchase) by hitting a pot hole or a curbWe checked the alignment and balance and both were good.We went above and beyond when we swapped out the tires on January they were not defective, and were later resold to another customer with no issuesWe are not sure why ***'s truck is pulling, but that is why we sent her to ToyotaIf the bent wheel was the cause of the pulling, why is it still pulling with the wheel in the rear? Perhaps ***'s Tundra has a stick caliberAlso, dealerships sell aftermarket big wheels and tires on their trucks all the timeI don't think they would do this if they deemed it an issueI am attaching photos of local dealerships that have lifted trucks on their lots this weekI am also attaching the invoice we have for ***, showing the lift kit we did to assist with the upsize of wheels and tires

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: My complaint is that when you go in the store they tell you prices of tires and rims Then you apply by computer to see if you qualify by having credit No one explains to you that in months it has to be paid in full or else you pay double. I did not understand correctly I feel if they had a person to sit with me and explain this I would of bought a new car instead.

Dear Mr & Mrs ***,As the General Manager for Tires To You, I want to express our thanks for your feedback and regret that you had to wait this long in response I appreciate speaking with you *** today and helping us to resolve your wheel issue This is an extremely rare
issue for us and unfortunately, we were not able to get the wheel repair man to you in sufficient timeSo with our agreement on the phone today, we will reimburse you for the replacement wheel you had to purchase Thank you again for your patience and we hope that we can help you with tires and maybe wheels in the future ***, GM Tires To You South Austin

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:The statements made by Tires To You are not accurate. I have never complained about the "noise" of the tires. The initial complaint is and has always been the significant pulling to the right of the vehicle. All four of the tires were NOT replaced or swapped out. Only ONE tire was replaced on our third visit (the front passenger tire) as we were told by them it was defective. The pulling continued. We took it back again, no fix, the pulling continued. Unfortunately due to Cal's working schedule we were unable to return immediately after the THIRD visit to solve this problem. Another detail that has not been brought up is every time we brought the Tundra in for the pulling we've had some sort of repair to suddenly make. I want to mention that this truck was fully serviced in the early summer of including a brake job. The truck was and is in excellent condition and is maintained on a regular schedule. We were told by Tires to You that we had a broken right brake caliper. It turned out to be a cracked right brake pad. We had it repaired it and at that time our mechanic commented that the alignment done by Tires to You was not as good as it should be and the tires are defective(I have all documentation showing the alignment measurements to substantiate this). The pulling continuedWe went in again and the front right tire was changed out. The pulling continued. We went it again and the tires were rotated and alignment dialed in better. Still pulling AND all of the sensor lights were set off in our dashboard and they were not able to turn them off. Tires to You sent us to Toyota of Cedar Park on 3/19/to resolve the lights and diagnose the pulling. They have diagnosed the pulling and fixed the lights in the dash. I will be adding an additional report tomorrow, 3/22/from the Toyota of Cedar Park dealership where their technicians are going to run the truck on a machine that will measure the tire and prove without a doubt that they are misshapen and defective. This coupled with the fact that the rim itself is too large for the truck are the cause of the pull. All substantiated by Toyota of Cedar Park, the dealership that Tires to You sent us to in order to assist with the reason for the pullingI also want to make note that the technicians observed that the alignment from Tires to You was done in such a way to compensate for the pulling and is not how the truck should be aligned according to Toyota's specifications and safety. Bottom line, we are still within our day warranty period and we have a truck that continues to pull to the right when driving and this is a safety and wear and tear issue. No where does it say warranty will be denied within that time period for any reasons. I appreciate the pictures included to prove that aftermarket products should and do work. This supports my claim that the tires and rims on our truck SHOULD work, but they do not. Thus proving the point that they are defective. It is personally insulting to me that you are not keeping to the facts about this situation and insinuating that as a female I don't have the ability to understand how rims and tires work. To the contrary, I have frame off restored cars with my father from the age of years old and built my first car a Karmann Ghia myself. I currently own a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with a 4.5" ARB lift kit and Rough Country suspension riding on a set of 18" Fuels with 35" Mickey Thompson BAATZs. I understand the difference between "tire hum" and a rough knobby tire ride vsan extreme pull. I also understand balance of tires vsalignment camber, caster and toe. After market products when done correctly, within specification work. My Jeep steers and drives perfectly, with zero drift or pull despite all of my after market additions.I am not seeking compensation for my time off, Cals time off, gas, or inconvenience. Nor am I seeking to receive a product from Tires to You for free. Simply stated, I went to the subject matter experts to purchase a new, safe, non-defective service and product that fits the application of my vehicle. This is not what I have received. When I called Tires to You on 3/20/to speak to the manager, Mr*** *** I was hung up on twice and not allowed to discuss this situation further. I have no other option than to seek a solution outside of the store as they are no longer willing to adhere or honor their day warranty policy. At this point I am happy to return the items back to the store for a full refund of the original purchase price. Not looking for any additional compensation whatsoever. Honor your service, products and warranty as stated.
Regards,
*** ***

We do not have a refund policy, and our exchange policy has long since expired (30 day exchange policy). The warranty is limited and does not cover damaged items such as wheels bent due to hitting potholes, curbs, etc. If you were to buy a television at Walmart they wouldn't warranty the TV after you dropped it. Also, if you bought a car at a dealership they wouldn't warranty it or give you a refund if you wrecked the car. This type of damage is not covered under the warranty. Of course we are not going to give a customer a refund on a product that was damaged after it was purchased by the individual. Giving a refund on products damaged by customers after the fact just doesn't make any sense. If we did that it would put us out of business. I'm sorry, but there is no need to discuss this any further. I would suggest taking the truck to the Toyota dealership to get an alignment done if the truck is pulling to the right. In some rare instances when vehicles have unusual mechanical issues we are not able to align them. I don't think we actually charged you for an alignment. You can check your invoice to verify this. This is most likely what is causing your vehicle to pull. It is not the product we put on your vehicle. The Toyota dealership should be able to fix the pull to the right for you.

I found the invoice for [redacted] and her Snap Finance agreement, including the summary that showed she would be making 12 payments totaling $5945.82, with $3103.82 being the amount over invoice she would be paying. Not only was this shown to her in our store, but it was also emailed to...

her by Snap Finance. In addition, as she stated, it appears she may have been late on her January payment, which will add fees. Snap Finance would have to answer how much that was. Snap could not provide me with her specific financial status, as this is private information.
