Tish Tush Pro Hair Tools Reviews (3)

This is exactly the scam they pulled with Tish Tush's skin care products sold at the NorthGate Mall! I got scammed (shame on me) into buying products which, in retrospect, came with absurd claims. (The theatrics the sales guys put on to try to sell me even more stuff was at least amusing.) I have the digital receipt I signed which does not mention refunds. When I went to return the unopened products, they waved a handwritten receipt I had never seen. The owner has promised me for 5 months that he will issue my refund, but keeps shining me on. I filed a BBB complaint Next step: Small Claims court.

I was sold face cream that was tried on me, and told the effects would last 72 hours at a minimum. They lasted less than an hour. Without opening the products, I took them back with a print out of the digital receipt. I was told by the employee--for the first time--they had a no-refunds policy, and that I would need to talk to the Tish Tush owner. I called him and, like the B.S. below, was told he just wanted to make me "happy." I then emailed him my complaint and attached the receipt, requesting a full refund. After a week of no response, I emailed again, and looped in the mall management office for their assistance. Still no response. My next move is the RevDex.com.

Review: Tish Tush was at [redacted] this year, but falsely advertised as another business, "[redacted]". Their real business name wasn’t posted, spoken of + can’t be found online. My attempt to resolve this matter meant contacting [redacted] + getting the booth [redacted] personal cell (“[redacted]”, [redacted] “Tish Tush”). Anyways, “**” called me over + asked me if I wanted to try extensions. Out of curiosity I let him tell me about these 100% Remy Hair Extensions made of 100% European hair- JUST $150 at [redacted]! However, he didn't seen to have any knowledge of the brand ([redacted]). He pulled them off a table and started applying them to my head after I sat down. Of course, after he styled me, they looked pretty great. During application he told me how beautiful I am, how he wants to take me to LA with him, etc. I asked his profession- he wouldn't specify but kept saying, “I do hair”. After being happy with the final look + being bribed with free [redacted] product, I purchased. I went home, took out the extensions and noticed the top of the extensions are frayed, the ends are uneven and have black dots all over them. I called the manufacturer who told me they have would never produce that. I went back for an exchange + they told me to go in the booth + look for new ones. They only had about 5-10 left (various brands)- none my color. The [redacted] didn't help or ask me what was wrong with my extensions. After 10 minutes, they tried to give me red extensions (my hair is brown), + when I asked for a refund they told me that they don’t do refunds, it’s “on their receipt”. He waved a paper receipt in my face. My receipt was text to me from [redacted], I was NOT given a separate paper receipt or told “no refund”. The [redacted], frustrated, walked away + the other employee told me he’d ship me new ones from California if I gave him my address (after I handed over my old extensions). I contacted [redacted] who told me that they do not sell any other product but [redacted], adding **re skepticism about the legitimacy of this company.Desired Settlement: While i'd like a refund, i'd also like someone to analyze the legitimacy of this salon as well as their "advertisements".

Response:

I am rejecting this response because:Not only is the response totally illiterate but it also does not respond to my key complaints or even the actual product I purchased (not [redacted]). Additionally as I mentioned they do NOT buy wholesale from the manufacturer of SHE hair extensions, as I spoke with their sales rep who said Tish Tush is not an approved distributor.
