October 6, 2015 [redacted] came to the shop for an estimate for the repair/replacement of her rear bumper for $645.  It was advised that there may be additional costs as there was possible hidden damage to the rear of the vehicle.  She then advised that she wanted to have her entire...

vehicle painted complete in addition to the rear bumper repairs.  Appt was set for October 19th.  Ms. [redacted] brought her vehicle in on October 26th.  We arrived at a price of $2,500.00 not including the initially quoted repairs to the rear bumper.  During the repair process Ms. [redacted] stated that being without her vehicle was a hardship and she was driving a friend’s vehicle.  She stated that she was a single mother with limited funds. I agreed to complete the repairs to the rear bumper and paint the vehicle complete all for $2500.  This was huge savings for Ms. [redacted] as this job would normally cost apprx $4000.  During the repair, found damage to the front bumper that could not be repaired.  We replaced the front bumper at no additional cost.  Damage found to both quarter panels and a roof molding that was repaired for free.  The day before the vehicle was to be complete, Ms. [redacted] was advised that we do not take checks but if she brought in cash we would offer a discount of $50.  The vehicle was completed on Dec 18th.  When she arrived she had brought only credit cards.  We still honored the $50 discount.  When Ms. [redacted] left the shop, she was pleased with the quality of repairs and the paint complete.  She called the next day and stated that her door lock was not working properly.  I advised her that we did not work on the door lock but to bring it by and we would be happy to look at it.  Yes, the repair and paint took longer than expected however the additional damages that were found and repaired substantiated the time it took to complete the job.  Mike G[redacted], Titan Auto Body
