Recently my Whirlpool side by side refrigerator stopped working It was quite expensive to replace one these days and really the new ones I looked at did not suit me I contacted Greene's and explained the symptoms to them I gave them my model # and they set an appointment Mr Greene showed up on time and was prepared to address whatever the cause of the failure I asked if I could watch him work as I like to learn about such things, he was happy for me to do so He tested various parts with electrical testers and determined that it was the compressor He had come prepared with the very compressor it would take to repair the unit He protected my floor with plywood and cut out the old compressor and soldered in an new one Charged the unit with coolant and tested for leaks He finally checked it for proper operation This all took less than an hour I was quite impressed with his work

I am rejecting this response because: if you noticed a huge price discrepancies here, the work done was completed in approximately 20-minutes*** called me back in less than minutes that my car is almost done, and it will be done in minutes, that is a total of minutes to weld, and put bolts, and the muffler shop charged me $dollars in labor, that is completely ridiculousThe going rate for almost any auto shop is $dollars an hour for labor, and I am being realistic hereNow, the price on the parts, there is no catalytic converter online or anywhere else that costs more than $each, *** overcharged me on the price of the parts, for $a piece this is completely bogus, and the discount on the receipt, there was no price reduction discussed, this was a fabricated receipt

On Wednesday October 7, I contacted your business after experiencing problems with our Amana Front Loader washerIt would not empty the water from the drumOn Thursday the 8th your technician arrived and after using a shop vacuum to remove the water decided that the drain pump was defectiveHe based this decision on the fact that the vacuum could be heard inside the drumHe did not make an effort to determine if there was anything blocking the pump, just assumed it was defective He indicated that there was not a pump available and would have to order one
On Tuesday I contacted Greene's and learned that the pump had come in and the technician would be here in the afternoon to make the repairUpon arriving your technician began removing the front panel of the washer and in doing so discovered that the pump was only accessible from the rear panelHe reinstalled the removed panels and removing the rear panel had access to the pumpOnce removed it was evident that the pumps operation was stopped by what appeared to be a popsicle style stickI removed the stick and found that the impeller moved freelyThe original pump was reinstalled and the water successfully pumped out
The rear panel was reinstalledA charge of $was advised and paidI am NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER of Greene'sIt would appear that your technician was not familiar with the washer he was to serviceHe would have known where the pump was located if he wasI wonder why no attempt was made on the initial visit to truly determine the condition of the drain pumpOur washer could have been back in service in one (1) day if that had been doneGreene's can be sure that we will not call if we need service in the future

Without the discount given to Mr. [redacted], the invoice would have totaled $1079.90 before tax; since all work was performed at once, we discounted $373.95 to bring the total to $705.95 before tax. Mr. [redacted] was extremely thankful for the price reduction and portrayed to be another satisfied Bill's Muffler customer.
