Review: We hired Steve and Titan Concrete to install a new driveway, decorative curbs (running parallel to the drive) and new porches on our older home. This project was installed in November of 2012. We had a number of issues with the quality of the work almost immediately, and by Spring 2013 it was obvious they would need to be addressed.

First, the "curbs" running vertically up the drive were crumbling where they met the sidewalk. Steve assured us this was simple to repair. That a "step had been missed" in the installation.

Second, the side porch did not have enough protective stain on it, and the winter had already removed spots of the top coating.

Third, vertical cracks began to appear up and down the "curb".

We contacted Steve very early in 2013 via email and let him know that we would need him to address these issues during the warm season. We were also very flexible in allowing that for his busy schedule. We simply requested that he stay in contact and keep us in mind to fit our fixes into his schedule.

After multiple contacts, he did come to our home in May of 2013 and applied another coat to the side porch, addressing that issue. That work has held up just fine. However, he left without addressing the vertical cracking or the crumbling near the street.

Prior to his visit in May, and even after the initial install as problems appeared, he promised us repeatedly that he would, "Make it right.". Following the installation, we paid him in full within days of his request and invoice. Following that May visit, we immediately let him know that he neglected to address the other two issues and that additionally, it seems that the driveway itself is beginning to discolor and needs some sort of additional protection. We have systematically and repeatedly, texted, emailed and left voice mails for Steve. We have had zero contact from him, in any form, since that visit in May. We also sent a certified letter on 9..17.13 to be sure he understood that we were serious about needing him to hold true to his promises. There was no reply.

We paid $6918.05 for this job and it already looks worn and if the deterioration continues, it will not hold up for many seasons.Desired Settlement: We would like [redacted] to finish what they promised. #1 The driveway needs to be checked and sealed. It is discoloring. #2 The vertical cracks in the curb need to be addressed. #3 The crumbling where the "curb" meets the sidewalk needs to be repaired.
