Review: On the evening of Saturday, November 16th, 2013, I bought a used $6,500.00, 116996K miles, VIN [redacted], 2005 [redacted] at Titan Motors. Although I requested a [redacted], and information regarding whether the vehicle had been in any accidents, any and all information was suppressed with a response that indicated that said vehicle has no history of any engine or performance damages. I now know why a [redacted] was not available and why there were several pages of pictures showing the looks of the vehicle, but none indicating the vehicle's history status, and the contrary appears to be what the evidence showed immediately as I drove the vehicle off of the sales lot and as the proprietor, [redacted] ensured to tell me that the vehicle only needed to pass its emissions inspections. On that evening, the vehicle's check engine light came on as soon as I drove it off the lot, and the shop closed it's doors as soon as I drove away. Titan Motors is located at [redacted],VA [redacted]. Their telephone numbers are: ###-###-#### and ###-###-####. The very next Monday morning, I contacted the owner/operator [redacted] , via telephone and immediately began to ask for a refund as I now had confirmed my suspicions as to why there was not a [redacted] available, why there was a suspension problem that I thought might be an alignment or balance issue, why the vehicle has a new after market windshield, and why the water temperature gauge acted erratically once the vehicle reached normal operating temperature. On the evening of 11/16/2013 as I drove the vehicle to my place of residence, the vehicle's engine appeared to randomly shut off while at a red light. Titan Motor's proprietor, [redacted] denied a refund by verbally stating that: You bought the vehicle as is, and Titan Motors is not in the business of refunding money! On Wednesday 11/20/2013, I took the vehicle for its emissions inspection. The inspection failed showing that the vehicle's cam sensors reported non emissions passing idling problems. The mechanic at the inspections place informed me that the vehicle needed to be repaired, in order to pass the inspection. Since then, I bought and replaced the upper cam sensors (VANOS), and brought the vehicle back to the same inspections place after Titan Motors (supposedly) did repairs to the vehicle. The vehicle's service engine soon light never shut off, and the inspection was a failure once again. Once more, I contacted Titan Motor's proprietor and operator, [redacted] and asked for a refund. A refund was again denied. While it was difficult to contain my anger, I did contain my anger at that time and asked to have the vehicle serviced by Titan Motors, as I truly needed and need the vehicle to be street legal for my transportation needs. An agreement was made with [redacted], the proprietor and operator of Titan Motors to have the vehicle dropped off at Titan Motors on the very next Friday 11/20/2013. I dropped off the vehicle, and Titan Motors proprietor was not in the premises as expected and agreed. I left the vehicle at Titan Motors, but no signature receipt document was available, and I needed to continue with my business day.The vehicle remained under Titan Motors possession for the next eleven (11) days, and - when it was finally returned on Monday 12/02/2013 - the vehicle was, again with a reset service engine soon light and an empty gas tank. The service engine soon light came on immediately as I drove it to the gas station. I was sure that no service had been done, and the vehicle had been driven around for no purpose, other than to perhaps provide transportation for whoever had been given the vehicle for service. The vehicle was dropped off at my place of employment and I never did get the opportunity to see who was the driver at that specific time. When I took the vehicle for its second emissions inspection, the next day I was told that the light had been reset and all scan reports could not be finalized, as the vehicle's memory was inconclusive. I was also informed that the lower cam sensors needed to be replaced because the problems that the vehicle's computer reported had not changed, despite the fact that I had replaced the two top sensors.Given that I have had to travel and have not had much opportunity to get involved in more activity with the vehicle, I ordered the two lower cam sensors (VANOS). Once again I contacted Titan Motors, only this time I requested a second set of temporary plates, in order to continue trying to get the vehicle registered and to pass its emissions inspection.I ordered and waited for receipt of other parts. Once again I also needed to leave town, and could not continue pursuing an immediate solution to getting the vehicle street legal and for my transportation needs. At my return, I once again contacted unannounced - Titan Motors to get a third set of temporary plates on Friday January 10, 2014 -, and to ask for a written history of the work that supposedly was done in November. I was told that a written report exists, but was not shown the said report. In the same manner that I was not shown a [redacted] and denied of any history on the vehicle. I took the vehicle to [redacted] Systems trained, certified and former [redacted] dealer mechanic at [redacted] also on [redacted] VA [redacted] in the very same compound as Titan Motors. A GT1 scan revealed that the sensors report is not congruent with an out of alignment exhaust cam attenuator, and the vehicle needed to have the cam shaft realigned. I made an appointment to have the vehicle serviced the following Friday 01/17/2014, and purchased the needed valve cover gasket, screws, and attenuator gasket needed for the job.I took the vehicle for service as scheduled. Only this time, a GT1 scan was done once again to ensure that the vehicle's reports are consistent, before getting involved with the job of taking it apart for serDesired Settlement: Given that my personal experience is a bitter one, and that there are other online negative reviews of this very same business either cheating and lying to, or of forcing consumers to spend moneys in a "false advertising" kind of manner, I prefer to have a cash refund and nothing more to do with this business.

A vehicle inspection of all electronics is a part of this inspection as well, no one will buy a car if one of the windows won't work. There are times that there could be any number of issues present that are not Immediately noticed at the time of diagnosis this can happen especially if it is a certain brand of car where a pre purchase inspection is highly recommended as costs for such vehicles is costly. A Pre purchase inspection ensures that because money is spent to professionally inspect the vehicle it ensures a complete check of the mechanical integrity of the vehicle including electrical and body condition as a whole by putting it on a lift and giving the customer an idea of what the condition of the vehicle at the present moment. At the moment before and after it was sold all checks passed and [redacted] was obtained and viewed by **. [redacted] and he went ahead and purchased it immediately. At the moment the vehicle has been sitting on our lot taking up space. We have tried to initiate contact with the customer, we have called and offered help with the repairs by extending our low parts costs to customers as well as reduced shop rates to make sure they get as good a deal as possible, we only wish he would contact us regarding this matter so we can deal with it in person and help him get on the road. Because he has not contacted us and has not made any effort to rectify the issue there is nothing we can do at the moment. He has taken the keys with him and left the vehicle and we kindly ask to relay correspondence to **. [redacted] to remove the vehicle from our property if he does not wish to establish contact with us. I thank you for your time and feel free to call me at [redacted] for anything you might need to help the customer consider his options. Forwarded is the [redacted] that is issued for the vehicle.

Review: I bought a car from this dealership. They promised me to fix the scratches (caused by chip stones) on the hood once I had bought the car, to look exactly like the original paint. However, once got all of money, they said that the only thing they can do it putting touch-up paint on the scratches. This cannot make the hook look exactly like original paint.

Secondly, the safety receipt they gave me doesn't have the same sticker number with the sticker on the windshield. They said that they can fax me the new receipt. Since I didn't have the fax, I asked them to scan and send me by email. They didn't respond. Called them several times but still unable to get in touch with them.Desired Settlement: I would request them to pay me for the cost to fix the scratches on the hood, and send me the new receipt (or pay me for re-inspect my car)
