Customer contracted with us to repair and reface kitchen cabs. Before Titan demoed kitchen we advised to change cab boxes because they are in bad shape and different matirial than doors. Customer refused and said it was all they could do.  We advised the color would not be consistant. Mrs....

[redacted] said it would be fine. Titan Remodeling went on with project as scedueld with custom color homeowner chose. Mrs [redacted] went out of town. When she returned, Mrs. [redacted] said she was sorry but the kitchen was to dark for her. Due to the lighting situation she chose in daylight outside color she chose was great. Inside in the shadow they look a different tone to her. We advised to put lights in proper place Mrs. [redacted] refused. So then we attemted for 10 more day to redo her cabinets a lighter color (not original color she chose at no additional cost). Once agine she left out of town. Titan Remodeling comleted work .Mr. [redacted] paid in full. When Mrs.[redacted] returned once agin she was not satisfied and wanted us to redo them agine. Titan Remodeling did everything in our power to satisfy Mrs. [redacted]. This is just one of those customers that dont understand constuction and can NOT be satisfied. the issues the [redacted]s have is a lighting and shadowing issue due to 7ft celings. The appliance paper work was left in cab drawer like all of many, many kitchens we have done over the last 10yrs. We Have never had a complaint that we could not satisfy. This one I belive can not be satisfied with anything less than a new house. Mrs. [redacted] is still contacting us today to redo her cabs.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: actually I do know construction and quite well as my grandfather, father, and brother all built or build homes in another state.  But, that aside, I want to explain in more detail why I am not satisfied.  I did approve the original color shown to me.  We also scheduled the work to begin three days earlier than they started which meant by the time they installed the cabinet doors I was TDY for the military.  Had they started on time I would have been there.  Again, I understand starting late as I understand construction.  Having said that, upon my return and non approval of the color, [redacted]s father explained that since the cabinet boxes were of a different wood he chose...HE CHOSE...to go a shade darker on all of it to try and make it closer to all the same color.  At that time I stated they were too dark.  They no longer blended with the rest of the wood in my home nor my wood floor, nor the light brown in the beautiful grant they helped Mexico.  [redacted] said he understood and it would not be a problem to redo them.  They proceeded to lighten all of them but three.  I asked them to fix those three.  They have not.   The colors in all of them vary which is fine, but those three are so dark they stand out. I have photos if neede.  In addition the contract called for our ceiling to be painted.  The ceiling , withtthe exception of the space between the ceiling and the wall was painted very well.  That two inch space between the meeting of the wall and the ceiling [redacted] not painted and is a different color.  I asked that they paint that area, they hVe not.  When removing and replacing one of my glass doors dfrom the frame they had to stain, they cracked it.  It is obvious as the metal space holders they used to hold the glass in place when they put them back in caused the crack.  The metal piece is still in place.  [redacted] told me they would replace the glass.  They have not.  The wood frame they put in around the microwVe to place it above the stove is1, a differnt wood then what they use for the cabinet doors so is a very differnt color.  In addition, they never stained the underside of the wood frame so the wood facing the stove top is unfinished, unsealed and unstained.  That is not okay.  Again, [redacted] stated he would have that fixed.   The grout between the backsplash under the microwave and the surrounding cabinets has several gaps in it.  I asked that they fill them.  He agreed.   We have asked repeatedly over the last few months for him to come by and see what needed to be done so his workers could complete the job.  They came once in December and did fix everything except the items listed above.  I had left a list numbered each item and put stickers on each item so they could do the work.   I called and left a message over the holidays, emailed the company web page asking [redacted] to call me.  I even sent a text telling him I assuimed he was on vacation and asking him if he was done.  I received no response.  [redacted] sent him a text stating I would be home Thursday 30 Jan and to ensure he contacted me prior to that date or he would have to call the Revdex.com he did not contact me.   So, I again called him and asked if he would be coming out while I was home.  He said no, he was at the stock show and was out of town for the entire week.  I asked if he would be here before 6 February.  He said yes.  And then joked that he would not have answered my call if he was avoiding me.   Yet he rarelyresponded to texts, emails or several phone messages.  By that time [redacted] had sent a message to the Revdex.com since he had not responded.   At 6 something Friday morning 31 Jan he text me stating he would respond to the Revdex.com report and that he was done with our project ....unless there was confusion on something and if so, I should call him.   I texted him.  I left a detailed text on the items listed above.   I told him I still expected him to come this week and finish the work.  He had agreed to that and it would have closed this complaint with a satisfied customer.    Still waiting..........and honestly, the  manuals for the dishwasher, microwave and oven were and are not here.  I was able to download them.  If you would like to see the photos I would be happy to upload them.   Then you may determine for yourself if you want to contract with them or not....oh, and whatever you do, don't make the final payment until all the work is done.  That was something I knew better than to do but trusted everything would be completed. This message is from [redacted]
Regards,
