Titan Solar put in new double-paned windows in my home They were installed in a day and a halfThe crew was efficient, polite, cleaned up everything, vacuumed, and rehung any window treatments they had to take down to put in the new windows

Titan Construction & Solar just called me about solar panels about a month ago. It sparked my curiosity because I hear a lot of things about it. My thoughts are it was just "speculation." I learned a lot from the gentleman over the phone within minutes. I decided to get an estimate to discuss this topic further. A representative named Lenny showed up to my house at the agreed appointment time and asked to politely come inside my house. After I agreed, they went into depth about solar and how it's beneficial for me to consider getting it.

I decided to take their word for it and invest in it. My BGE was ungodly high, so I wanted to take the necessary measures to lower it. The installation for the solar panels was a week after our meeting. The installation went smoothly and timely. I felt like I got something I needed, as well as wanted after dealing with a company with a positive approach. I would definitely recommend Titan for your solar needs.

Titan Solar put in 22 new double-paned windows in my home. They were installed in a day and a half. The crew was efficient, polite, cleaned up everything, vacuumed, and rehung any window treatments they had to take down to put in the new windows.

Here is my experience with Titan Solar. While there are many companies out there wanting your business it is hard to tell which ones are genuine and which ones will just tell you what you want to hear. Of course the only real way to find out is to use them. Another way is to listen to what others have to say and learn from their experiences. This solar adventure was a first for me and what n experience it was. It started with me signing the contract in good faith and then weeks later being told it had been cancelled upon review because the salesmen, now fired, did not follow company polices and under bid the job. Of course that should have been my first clue to move on to another company. My bad! They finally agreed to honor the contract, which of course they would have held me to regardless. Then came the constant delays. They always had an excuse though. While some of them may have been legitimate many I found out were straight out false. Now if it was due to lack of communication within the company, I do not know. The only thing I know is what they said verses what I personally witnessed proved to me they really are not a company that you want to do business with. One issue was when the guys showed p to install the solar panels only to find out they had not even started my re-roof yet. Well they went ahead and left the panels on my patio roof. Later I received a call from Titan saying "Hey we have a great deal for you! Do you want to "upgrade" your panels?" I listen to their pitch and agreed to the upgrade and additional cost. As time went on and the re-roof was done I was wondering why work had stopped. I was told that since I did the upgrade they had to order the new panels. This sounded believable. Well then they guys showed up to install the panels weeks later. In the mean time I am losing any savings in electricity I could have enjoyed. When they installed the panels that were being stored at my house I asked the question "I was supposed to get the upgraded ones?". They responded that the ones stored on my roof were the new ones. Red flag #97, then why that delay? Also, when they went to install them they said the roofers had messed up and a portion had to be re-done. Each time the roofers were there and left they had filled my garbage cans with so much debris they could not be moved. Originally when they were wanting me to sign-up with them they gave me all of this literature saying what a good rating they had and how the customer is #1. Well that is until you sign and are bound to the contract. Also, read the fine print, regardless of what they verbally say. After they had finally finished and were paid then I got a bill for permits which I was told were all included in the cost. The fine print said something different. It said $300 but yet my bill was $390. There were many other bad experiences I had with Titan that left me feeling like an absolute fool for choosing them. I only hope that me sharing "some" of me experiences will help you avoid the nightmare I had with them. Of course Titan will try to say that I am merely a disgruntle customer and that I was totally unreasonable but you have to ask yourself, I have nothing to gain by lying but they do, your money. Had this whole project, or even the better part of it, gone as they claimed it would I would be writing a review of praise.

Your Original Review
The system does a good job, works to solve the problem it was designed for. It has generated 1 megawatt per month over the last 12 months. Installation went well, as did clean up on completion. Had a couple of minor glitches that were handled promptly. I would recommend them heartily.
