Thank you for helping me figure this all out. I was so confused/frustrated trying to do this myself.
You guys are worth every penny!

I was informed to renew my student loan forgiveness program through the alleged company only to find out that the process did not require their assistance. However, the company (TitanPrep, Inc.) charged my account $295 even though I never signed or completed any of their documents. I called them informing that I was charged and they informed me they would return the funds to my account immediately. After 3 weeks no funds have been returned to my account. My bank is telling me I need to file a dispute in writing, but there is no guarantee I will receive my funds. My account was billed on August 1st.

This customer has been with another company for 3 years and their contract expired and we processed this clients file for 3 years. We reached out to the customer to determine if they wanted to continue services and the customer stated that they did. An agreement was sent out to the customer to continue services with the payment date and amount for the full year of $295 that the customer agreed upon. We began moving the file forward and the customer did not end up signing the service agreement, but because the customer was an active client in our system the payment did run. The customer is accurate that they never signed the service agreement to continue services for the next year. We have since called the client and sent a refund to the customer in full as this customer does not want to continue services now. The customer was satisfied and feels that they can handle their own program moving forward. We are only here to assist people that do want the help with their programs. They are informed that this is something that they can do on their own and if they choose to continue utilizing services then we of course assist them. If they are not interested in continuing services then we cancel out their file. We did not receive a call, SMS, or email about this situation from the client to correct the issue which we would of done if we had the chance to do so.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I would like to thank everyone for their attention to this matter. It was done in a very complete professional way and I am pleased with the results.God bless

They were extremely helpful and went over and beyond to assist me with my student loan debt... Christian F was very helpful thanks

Student loan debt has been a nightmare for me. Titanprep, Inc made me understand my loans and helped to provide me with a solution. They will work with you and that means so much to me as a teacher who does not earn a check 12 months out of a year. They offered me a much cheaper solution who does not charge me every month! Erill Doronila you are a dream that is helping me sleep better at night an I cannot thank you enough! Thank you a million times :-)

Easy to work with great customer service, fast and efficient.

I have used titan prep for my loan forgiveness and I have been waiting 6 months to hear back from them about why they cannot renew my loan forgiveness when I have done everything they have asked. I tried to call and the number is not in service the email I get no repose from them. I am now being told that my credit has been affected and that I have been charged penalties on my loans. My loans have now tripled in what I owe and it makes no sense to me. I have used titan prep for a few years and I am so sorry I did. They have not helped but made things worse. I was told the Fedloan servicing does it work with third parties but titan prep told me they were working with Fedloan. I am at A loss as to what to do now.

was originally a client of Progress Advocates Group LLC starting in July of 2015. We recently started working her case file in October of 2018. She started working with one of our representatives to get her renewal process completed. The client fell behind in her program based upon what Fed Loans explained to the client because of a renewal not being completed in September of 2018. We prepared to receive her supporting documentation which was received on November 3 2018. Her file was submitted on January 17th of 2019 once the quality control department was able to confirm everything that was taking place on her case file. Two days before submitting her application *** was informed by Fedloans that she was $10 behind and an application was then submitted immediately to complete her renewal for her income driven repayment program. From this point forward things became very confusing because of the lack of consistent information received by Fed Loans customer service department. On January 25th 2019, February 4th 2019, February 11th 2019, February 14th, 2019, February 26th 2019, and on March 5th 2019, a call with Fed Loans took place where ***'s application was repeatedly explained that it was being processed and to follow up. There were 6 calls that took place that a representative stated the same thing each time, "To call back later and hopefully they would have an update for ***'s application." On March 12th 2019 Samantha ID number *** at Fed Loans stated that ***'s application was placed on hold due to a $5 exit fee payment that needed to be paid in order for *** to switch from an Income Based Repayment program to a Revised Pay as You Earn program. The $5 exit payment was not made by the client and Fed Loans claimed that they mailed the payment request to ***. Fed Loans does not allow you to make the $5 exit payment unless it is made within the window of time that they provide which is sent via US mail or email. The client tried to make the payment on March 14th 2019 and was told that she could not make the payment until she made 3 consecutive payments of $351 and that they are now denying her application for her renewal on her Federal Student loan repayment program. A call to Fed Loans was made again on March 14th 2019 where a representative was now saying that *** was required to make 3 forced payments of $351 confirming what the other representative stated earlier that day. Another call was made to Fed Loans on March 21st 2019 and this time a representative stated that all *** had to do was make a $5 exit payment. *** tried again on March 27th to make the payment and FedLoans stated that she had to make 3 forced payment of $351. Fed Loans has provided constant wrong information causing *** to be in this horrible situation and we understand why she is so frustrated as we are too. As of May 10th 2019 (today) FedLoans is accepting a Renewal application to be submitted into an Income Based Repayment Program (the same program she was already in prior but has a larger payment) where *** will be required to make 3 payments of $70.50 and then she can switch into a lower repayment program. The reason Fedloans was not accepting the application was because *** has not made payments on her Student Loans since they were consolidated back in 2015 and she did not make payment prior to her consolidation in 2015. FedLoans wants to receive payments before they will accept a lower repayment program. We have finally been able to come to a resolution, but again we did not start working this customers case file until October 30th 2018. I am happy to say that we have come to a resolution. TitanPrep has sent *** 27 SMS messages, 16 Emails, and made 7 phone calls all of which *** responded to during her time with us at TitanPrep. During the month of April until May 03 there was no communication to *** from our company and she sent us Text messages on April 4th, April 27th, and May 3rd that were not responded to until May 6th 2019. During that span of time her application and negotiations with Fed Loans were still taking place but she should have received communication from us especially with the challenges she has dealt with. TitanPrep has never collected any money from *** and we are not charging *** for the work that we are doing this Year and we never were because of the Hardships she is facing with her Student Loan servicer. We have an agreement between us that was signed on October 30th 2018 stating we will help her with her Repayment Program, but again with no money being charged to ***. *** has only made payments to Progress Advocates Group LLC and her last payment she made to them was on 9/15/2017. *** we are pleased to have come to a reasonable resolution with you and your Servicer, but we apologize that you did not receive communication back on the 3 attempts that you made during that 30 day span.

Scammers!!!
Stay far away from these greedy people. They are after your money and worst of all they will have your personal information(who knows what else they will do with it). I am speaking from personal experience, don't be fooled like me. I was naive and didn't have the knowledge have now. STUDENT LOAN SCAMMERS!!! is who they are. I trusted them but they took advantage of me. Titan Prep Inc, you have caused me pain, your judgment day is coming. Do you think taking advantage of vulnerable people is fine? Especially by tricking them and lying, your time will come.
My fellow citizens don't be fooled like me by these criminals. They will make you false promises and deny all of them once you discover the truth. Always look for these red flags. Legitimate companies will never ask you for an up-front fee(this company tricked me into paying them $150 up-front) this is actually illegal under federal law. YOU CAN EASY FILE THE FORMS FOR FREE StudentLoans.gov. It isn’t rocket science. Changing your repayment plan takes just a few minutes.
They will say that they file paperwork on your behalf, but will not let you know that you can do it yourself. Red flag! they will play on your fear of missing out. Do not give them your FSA ID. These Scammers will ask for your Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID.They will also Ask for sensitive, personal information is an additional warning sign. Don’t share your debit card numbers or your bank account number with anybody. Also be careful about sharing your date of birth or Social Security Number, which opens the door to identity theft(this is painful).
Please stay safe and far away from these criminals.
They have fooled me, don't be like me.

This company supposedly took my account from Equitable Acceptance and I was to continue to pay Equitable Acceptance $49 a month for student loan consolidation. I had to re-certify for my consolidation in September of 2018 in which I did on Titan prep website. Since I entered my information I have yet to hear from a representative from Titian Prep. I have called, I have emailed and I have reached out to Equitable Acceptance no one will respond. Come to find out they did not consolidate all my student loans and I was charged $1300 for this fraudulant service. I spoke to my representative from Fedloans.gov and they said this service was a fraud! I should not have been charged for a service that I could do for free online through my loan servicer. I have been paying interest on top of that $49 fee and I have paid about $750 of that $1300 to this company. I stopped the auto draft from my account and I refuse to pay another dime. I was never told I could do this service for free and it was illegal for them to access my fedloan account over the phone to do my student loan consolidation application.

was enrolled with a previous company that we have no affiliation with. Which ever company she enrolled with in the past is where this complaint should be filed. TitanPrep has no agreement or contract with this customer. Equitable Acceptance is the finance company who she has a loan with that was provided to her through the original enrollment company that she signed up with. That company is no longer in business. Equitable Acceptance sent us a case file with her name, phone number, email, and address. We have no information on her original paperwork that was filed or what she signed up for originally. We are a customer service company that was contacted by Equitable to help them with their clients that needed to be serviced. We do have knowledge of the Federal Repayment Programs and the options that are available to borrowers. With that knowledge we can help these borrowers who no longer have an enrollment company that can service them. Without receiving funds from *** and having no contract with *** we have no ability to provide her with her desired settlement, but we are more than willing to try and help her to the best of our abilities with the information that we have. We have checked our phone records and there are no calls from the number that was provided to us by Equitable Acceptance and the number that is on this complaint. These are programs that any individual can do themselves. People have the right to obtain service from private companies that don't have the time, patience, or knowledge of these programs. The federally back servicers have no right to call all companies that are providing services a scam without knowing who they are what services they provide. They should not instill that kind of fear in their borrowers without reason. *** if you need anything from us please let us know and we will do our best to help you through this and at least provide you an understanding of who we are and what we can do to help. We are sorry for the experience that you have had with your enrollment company and Equitable Acceptance. If you would like to speak with us we would be more than willing to try and resolve what challenges we can that are within our control.
