I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
CJ Asphalt Paving gave us an estimate on rolling or spraying our driveway. We decided to spray it. I was at the doctor so my wife gave them a check when they completed the work. Our son did not drive on the driveway to soon. They told us that we could drive on it the next day but we waited days. When we drove on it, it left tire tracks (and it still does) and there are cracks where the sealer did not go down in the cracks real good. CJ Paving told me he would come back and take care of spraying in the cracks and I told him that I would revoke the complaint when this was completed. I have called him a number of times during the process of getting this job done. The person that answered the phone said that she would get him to call me but he did not return my calls

On August 11, 2017 C J Asphalt Paving, Inc. gave customer estimate on cleaning and sealing driveway. Estimate included 2 different application methods: Single coat spray application $296.00 and single coat roll method $350.00   Customer called back at the end of August and said he had...

chosen a different company to seal his driveway. The first of September customer called again stating he wanted C J Asphalt Paving, Inc. to complete the sealing maintenance of his driveway.  He then at time chose the option of single coat rolling of sealer on his driveway.   C J Asphalt showed up at customer’s house on September 17, 2017 to complete the project.  At this time the customer’s wife came outside informed our company that they no longer wanted the rolled application, they chose the cheaper spray application method.  Our company edged around house, garage doors, sidewalk and wall in order to protect their property from overspray of sealer.  The edging is a standard and necessary step in order to protect adjoining structures and surfaces.   The remainder of the driveway was sprayed as requested by the homeowner.  When our company left the homeowner was well satisfied and paid in full. September 20, 2017 the homeowner called our office and said he had tire marks from son driving on driveway too soon.  Our company visited the site twice however homeowner was not at home.  On the third attempt our company met with the customer and homeowner complained sealer did not look the same.  The reason the sealer did not look the same because there were two different application methods used as requested per homeowner.  There were no tire tacks present in the driveway.  Our company explained to the reasoning for the difference and homeowner said he would contact the Revdex.com and revoke his original statement of complaint.   Our company uses premium quality Sealmaster Sealer with chemical additives and 3-5 pound of sand per gallon to meet or exceed manufactures specifications.   C J Asphalt Paving, Inc. performs sealing services for many commercial and industrial applications with no complaints or problems.  Please contact our office or respond by email with any questions.Thank you,[redacted] ###-###-####
