I am rejecting this response because:I am rejecting this response because: The statements that Tito's automotive repairs made are inaccurate and false. When I took my vehicle to Tito's automotive repair I  informed him that my vehicle would not pass smog and my son in-law had replaced some parts. Tito stated that there would be a $65.00 diagnostic fee to which I agreed. I contacted Tito on 08/07/2014 to check the status of my vehicle he stated the total price for repairs would be approximately $ 1300.00 before I agreed to his price I stated to Tito that I would need the car on or before 08/28/2014 because this was my last extension for smog repairs with the California Department of Motor Vehicles he told me this would not be a problem and that my car would be repaired in time before 08/28/2014.Several weeks went by and I was approaching the date of 08/28/2014 and had heard nothing from Tito's automotive repair shop. I began calling Tito's automotive repair shop leaving numerous messages with the receptionist in regards to my vehicle and got no response from Tito. Several weeks had passed again when I received Tito's phone call he stated "that he had cleared some of the smog codes but was still having problems and informed me that I had a faulty wiring harness to the smog system in question, and the part had to be ordered from the dealership because it could not be purchased over the counter and it would take 5-7business days to receive the part"  I stated that the wiring harness had already been purchased and  replaced from Auto Zone and if it is faulty I would bring in the receipt to where it was purchased  and he could return it, he stated "no problem".  I tried contacting Tito again with no response. Several weeks passed when I heard from Tito automotive repair which was well after the date of 08/28/2014 in which he stated that he had cleared some of the codes but the vehicle would still not pass smog, and the bill would be $800.00 for time and repairs that he had put into it and that I would need to take my vehicle to the Toyota dealership. I stated to Tito's automotive repair that this would be in excess and well over $1300.00 that I was wiling l to pay for all automotive repairs for we know the dealerships are costly. At this time I felt that I was being taken advantage of because of my lack of knowledge with smog repairs so I put my fiancée on the phone with Tito's automotive repair in which my fiancée asked what was the total amount due for repairs, Tito's automotive repairs stated "$800.00 for the repairs and time"  My fiancée stated to Tito's automotive repairs that this was an unfair price due to the fact that I was willing to pay $1300.00 for a complete repair job and the repair job was incomplete. We offered to pay Tito's automotive repair shop $ 400.00 for the work that he did do and call it even at this point Tito stated to my fiancée " this was not no bargaining swap meet shop and that we would have to pay the $ 800.00 or else. Now that I have contacted the Revdex.com in regards to this matter Tito has now stated to the Revdex.com that the repairs was only $467.00 this is a false statement. I was prepared to pay the $400.00 the day he contacted me he would not accept it. By Tito's actions I am starting to feel that he was trying to wait me out to obtain my vehicle through mechanical lien. However I no longer trust Tito's automotive to do the right thing in regards to this matter by the inaccurate and false statements he has made against me. However I am willing to pay a flat $400.00 dollars which I had initially offered at the time Tito contacted me on 10/04/2014 which again was well after the date we agreed upon that the car would be completed by I feel that this was a breech of contract as well as dishonest practices such dishonesty like when he stated "the wiring harness part could only be purchased from the Toyota dealership" and I knew this to be false due to the fact I had purchased the wiring harness from Auto Zone. However I am on a fix income I willing to resolve this matter 11/01/2014 in the total amount of $400.00 even, providing Tito's automotive repair shop makes available to me all old parts and receipts for the new parts which he claims to have installed. I would like my car in a operational manner as when I drove it into Tito's automotive repair shop. This has been a hardship for me considering I have been without a vehicle for several months and will still be without a vehicle after coming out of pocket  $400.00 my vehicle is my lifeline due to the fact I have doctor appointments I have to keep and now I am forced to pay for rides to and from my doctor appointments. I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

Review: Tito owner checked my car after it wouldn't pass smog engine light was on and off, feb 2015 he informed me exact words"someone put a sensor in the wrong place don't understand why" and I had to wait 30 days so it wouldn't be on [redacted]'s computer he would take it to another shop.

I informed him I trusted him through an X. I had surgery coming up in 9 days after I was well back on my feet literally and working ($) I'd bring it to him to repair. My health declined I was out of work for a longer time than I expected. When I got on my feet I bought a new battery from [redacted] and made appt with Tito. In the mean time my brand new 245.00$ battery was dead

I had him tow it to his auto center. He took 3 weeks to look at my car due to very busy lots of cars his words

When he finally diagnosed it he said my battery was OLD RAGEDY and full of water. [redacted] replaced battery at is shop. He then claimed to correct sensor and told me to drive my car 150 miles to see in check engine came back on. Within two weeks my check engine light came on while moving. The car has been sitting up due to check engine light and not passing smog. Today I started car it's been awhile since I started it and sure enough battery dead! He hung up in my face 5times

I no longer trust this man and my X is damaged my reputation with him that's reason to believe he has no respect and very unprofessional I paid 443$ for nothing!

I never had any confrontations or issues with this man Tito but while my car was at his shop over 2 months he never would return my calls. I actually only trusted him. His wife [redacted] was supposed to fax info to [redacted] for bad Battery issue I had to ask her everyday for 8days. She kept saying I forgot!

My X had to tell this man negative things which is surprising but not being that he trust him but his car/truck breaks down every other week and Tito has yet to fix the car/truckDesired Settlement: I wanted repairs originally but being that he hung up in my face several times yelled and disrespected I could never trust him!

I paid him 433.13 in January 26th and repair of sensor failed check engine light came on Jan. 26th

Customer called in to have vehicle 2005 Volkswagen Jetta on 12/3/2015. Her main concern was the vehicle was not starting and the inside the vehicle it smelled like radiator coolant. After the vehicle was inspected, vehicle was diagnosed with the incorrect battery installed into the vehicle, and there was a leak from the thermostat outlet. Customer requested 2 separate estimated since the batter was put in by [redacted] and she stated they would pay for the repairs of the damages made from the battery. After providing the estimate for the battery customer advised us that she would need to contact [redacted]. Customer did not advise us that we needed to contact [redacted]. She contacted our office on 12/15/16 stating that we needed to fax the estimate directly to [redacted] and we did so on 12/16/15. Repairs on the vehicle were completed 12/30/16. We contacted the customer regarding the vehicle being completed and she would state that she was not going to pay anything until [redacted] made a payment, advised that [redacted] had not made a payment and she would need to contact them directly. [redacted] then paid on 1/7/16 by phone for the amount of $210.00. after the payment from [redacted], the customer still took another 13 days to come in and finish paying the repairs and picking up her vehicle. Customer indicated that her main concern was the vehicle not passing smog. Per all the estimates signed buy the customer, her main cancers was the vehicle not starting, the vehicle smelling like anti-freeze inside the car and being told by a 3rd party that the O2 sensor was tampered with. There was never any talk about the vehicle having an issue passing smog. When the vehicle left the shop the check engine light was not on, advised customer to drive the vehicle and if there were any problems to being the vehicle back. Customer did not reach out to the shop until beginning of March, when she did so she was advised to bring the vehicle in to inspect and as of today she has not brought the vehicle back.

I didn't take care information a smell, he is a liar! I took my car in because of check engine light. I have proof that he didn't do repairs by a shop that services VW. TI to had my car Long time money was never an answer. Tito found that they battery I just replaced was no good. So I then contacteducate [redacted] once Tito said this battery is no good. [redacted] came out replaced it. Tito story is lying. The place that has my car says any proof you need. They have. I never had a link and he never told me there was a leak until I seen it on my receipt. Now that I had another shop diagnose it's proven that check engine light issue was not touched but he charged me

Review: I had taken my vehicle to Tito's auto repair and towing in August 2014, because I had an issue with getting my 1997 Avalon smog . Tito explain that he could fix my vehicle and the cost would be $ 1300.00 I contacted Tito every week for about a month he said that there were some issue in fixing my vehicle , but he assured me that if I gave him some time he would have my car up and running where it can pass smog in no time. I stopped calling so frequently to give him time to fix my vehicle because I figured he was probably busy. I contacted Tito again in Sept of 2014 he stated that he was still working on my car but will call me when he was finished. I received a call from Tito the beginning of Oct he told me that he couldn't fix my vehicle but was going to charge me $800.00 for the work he had done . He also told me to take to the car to the Toyota dealership and maybe they can fix my car so I can pass smog. I explained to him that $800.00 was a little high considering he didn't do what he stated he was going to do and that was to fix my vehicle so it could pass smog. I told him that we need to come to some agreement and he told me that this is not a bargaining shop and that he wanted what he was asking for and to take my car to the Toyota dealership to get the issue fixed so I can pass smog. I feel that Tito was very unprofessional and did not do what he was suppose to do and therefore he breached his contract where he stated he would be able to fix my vehicle so it can pass smog. I feel that he has taken advantage of me along with keeping my vehicle for several months without resolving the issue. I do feel that I should pay something but $800.00 is a little too much considering I will have to take my car somewhere else to get it fixed so I can pass smog. If there is something that you can do to help me with this matter I would be very appreciative Thank YouDianna T RespersDesired Settlement: I am disabled and I am on a fix income. I was more than willing to borrow the money from my mother to pay Tito to fix my vehicle since my vehicle is not fixed I am going to have take the car somewhere else to get it fixed if we can come to some agreement to pay for his service something less than the $800.00 If not I would be forced to sign over my car to him as payment I would hate to do that considering that this Vehicle is my only transportation to go to my doctor appointment.

Mrs. [redacted], brought he vehicle in for a diagnostic on 8/5/14. Mrs. [redacted]'s chief complaint was that the check engine light was on agreed to pay the standard fee of $60.00 for the diagnostic test. Mrs. [redacted] was contacted on 8/12/14 around 11am and was advised that there were multiple codes on her vehicle (P0100, P0306, P0304, P0302, P0300, P0446, P0330, P0325, P0153, P0150, P0115, P0110,) to resolve these issues it was recommended to replace air flow meter, nock sensors, canister purge valve, o2 sensors coolant temperature sensors, thermostat and gasket. The total estimate for these repairs would be $ 1,364.46. At this time Mrs. [redacted] stated that the nock sensors and o2 sensors were already replaced at another shop and only authorized the repairs on the air flow meter, coolant temperature sensor and thermostat sensor and gasket, bring the new estimated total to $467.89. After these repairs where completed, the system was cleared and we ran the vehicle to see which codes still persist in the system and it appeared that only the nock sensor codes (P0330, P0325) reappeared. On 8/22/14 Mrs. [redacted] was informed of the situation and agreed to replace the nock sensors and attempted to put a new computer on the car and were still unsuccessful in clearing the nock sensor codes. We removed the new sensors and Engine Control Module we installed and put the original ones that were in the vehicle, since the new parts did not clear the codes it would add an additional cost of $800.00 that was not recommended since the problem was not resolved. We apologized to Mrs. [redacted] that we were not able to clear the nock sensor and advised her to take it to a sepcialist. At this time Mrs. [redacted] husband was upset and refused to pay any current accumulated repairs in order for us to release the vehicle. Mrs. [redacted] is claiming that we told her she owed us $800.00 but the current balance for the repairs only is $467.89. The $800.00 she is claiming is owed on the vehicle is what would have been added to her total if the nock sensors and the PCM was left in the vehicle. At the current time Apart from the repairs the customer has accumulated charges for storage fees and a lien that has been placed on the vehicle.

This is an attempt to resolve the problem wit Mrs. [redacted]'s vehicle the 97' Toyota Avalon. With this response we are including all receipts for the parts installed on the vehicle and those that were removed because the problem was not resolved. As I explained to you over the phone 12 codes where registered on Mrs. [redacted]'s vehicle which at this time 10 codes are clear. I do understand Mrs. [redacted]'s frustration with resolving the issue with her vehicle. I am faxing the receipts provided by her showing the previous repair attempts done by another shop and receipts of parts from Auto one from when she stated the parts where installed by a friend. On 10/2/2014 when I called Mrs. [redacted]'s to explain the issue with her vehicle she put her boyfriend on the phone he was unprofessional and disrespectful, due to his behavior we advised that we would no longer be providing him any information about the vehicle, only Mrs. [redacted]'s, and he because irate and aggressive. As you can see we tried our best to resolve the issue with Mrs. [redacted], we believe that we are entitled to payment for the work that we have done on her vehicle. Since we have not received any type of payment from Mrs. [redacted], we ask that you do not show any receipts or invoices to her at this time.
