I am rejecting this response because:In the complaint Titus Will claims I rejected the recommendation of the repairs which I did not at any time rejectI took my car in and explained to them how it was driving etc within hrs of the check engine light coming onI explained to the lady that when I hit mph it would shutterI actually scheduled an apt at that time to bring it backI ended up going to another facility because I felt like I was getting ripped off at Titus Will because they clearly had no intentions of actually trying to figure out what was really going on with my car and instead ignored my descriptions of what was going on with it and only did the bare minimumI knew there was no way a thermostat would cause the car to shutter or drive differently Also I was not aware that they did any repairs on the power trainThe only part in the feb/mar time frame that I was told was fixed was a timing belt so that leads me to believe there was more wrong with the vehicle than was told to my husband or myselfThe first time this was brought to my attention was when I spoke to Leon or Lenni at Titus Will on 13Jan2016 when he reached out to me due to the Revdex.com complaint and he told me about the power train being repairedI also asked him how come when I told the lady in the service dept about how my car was driving then they didn't check other parts when only the thermostat code went off knowing that wouldn't cause the car to have a shutterHe had a long pause and said, "I couldn't tell you that." The conversation with the gentleman just showed me even more so that they hid information about this vehicle and they had intentions of doing the bare minimum so that I would have to keep bringing the car back for each individual issue

I’m not sure what more we can say that hasn’t been said before. Ms. [redacted] did not allow us the additional time required to diagnose her vehicle. She admits that she scheduled a time to bring it back but instead took it to another business so we never had the opportunity to further diagnose her concern. Ms. [redacted] is confusing powertrain with power steering pump. We made no repairs to the powertrain.   I’m sorry that Ms. [redacted] felt the need to go to anther business but I can assure her that we have nothing to gain by ignoring her vehicle’s issues. We have no interest in doing the bare minimum or keep her coming back for individual issues. We want to build long term relationships with our customers and we do that by operating our business with integrity. It is our job to diagnose and make recommendations that make the most sense for our customers. Ms. [redacted] did not allow us the opportunity to do that beyond the initial 30 minutes of free diagnosis. Titus-Will is not responsible when a customer declines our recommendations and no work is performed.

Please know that Titus-Will has done nothing wrong and has only tried to help Ms. [redacted] with her vehicle. Here is a timeline of events.2/27/16: Purchased a used 2013...

Nissan Pathfinder (VIN [redacted]), 77,522 miles. 3/09/16: [redacted], 78,125 miles. Replaced drive belts. NO CHARGE3/15/16: [redacted], 79,125 miles. Replaced power steering pump and idler pulley. NO CHARGE5/31/16: [redacted], 82,445 miles. Oil change. NO CHARGE10/07/16: [redacted], 89,111 miles. Oil change & light bulb. $8.21 Charge12/08/16: [redacted], 91,068 miles. Vehicle came in with a Service Engine Soon light. We performed our standard 30 minutes free diagnosis. Code P0128 told us that it needs a thermostat. We recommend replacement and the customer declined the repair. There was no work performed beyond the diagnosis. NO CHARGEIn her Revdex.com complaint, Ms. [redacted] references a leak. We have no record of any such concern, but a broken thermostat--which we recommended she replace and she declined--could cause a leak. Ms. [redacted] gave us no opportunity to identify any other issues with her vehicle and declined our recommendations for repairs. When a customer brings a concern to us, all we can do is make recommendations for repairs. It is up to the customer to authorize the repair. We are not responsible if the repair is not authorized by the customer and performed by us nor are we responsible for work performed by other businesses. Please know that I take customer concerns seriously and personally. Titus-Will does not lie, mislead, or take advantage of our customers. We have been in business for nearly 80 years and have a great reputation in the community. The kind of business practices described by Ms. [redacted] would have put us out of business long ago. Again, I’m sorry that Ms. [redacted] is having issues with her vehicle but we are not responsible for these issues. Please let me know if you have any questions regarding this response. Thank you.

First and foremost, I apologize for any anxiety or confusion we may have caused. Please know that we make every effort to price our vehicles accurately on our website. That said, we rely on third party applications to run our website and sometime when a vehicle that is modified (lifted, in this...

case) a manual override is required. That was most likely the case with this vehicle. It should also be noted that all vehicles listed on our website include a disclosure stating that we are not responsible for errors and consumers should verify vehicle price and equipment prior to purchase.
