Dear Representative Revdex.com:I am writing in reference to complaint ID [redacted] .We sold a Subaru Bato [redacted] on November 20, She was informed before the sale that she was more than welcome to take the vehicle to her mechanic and have it checked over prior to purchasingWe do not have a mechanic on site; we send all of our vehicles to local mechanics for inspections and any repairs that are required before a saleShe was also informed prior to the sale that this vehicle was being sold "As Is" because the mileage of at the time of sale was over what we cover on our in house warranty coverageWe told Miss [redacted] to take her time and drive the vehicle and check it over as much as she wantedShe chose not to take it to her mechanic and purchased the vehicle after checking it over and driving it herself.We never received any complaints or had any contact from her after the sale until July 30, At that time we received an email stating she had to do repairs and was upset about the cost and frequency of some of the repairsShe never asked for help or for anyone to contact herShe just made it very clear she would never purchase a vehicle from us againIf Miss [redacted] had contacted us at the time she had the original issue we may have been able to assist her even though we sold the vehicle with no warranty.This vehicle went through an inspection in October therefore it would have been checked over for anything inspection relatedIt had brake work done front and rear, exhaust work and a few other itemsWe trust our mechanics and they would not endanger their business to pass a vehicle that should not have a sticker put on itThe head gasket is not an inspection item, it did not have any issues before the sale, and we would not have serviced it unless we noticed a problem.We feel that we do a good job of putting out a quality vehicle for the priceWe cannot bring a vehicle back to new condition, it is still a used vehicle, and will need repair work donePlease contact us if you have any further questions,Sincerely,Carl [redacted] M [redacted] , President Titusville Motor Company, inc
