Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/10/19) */
The complaint is in response to a visit from 10/2/where the customer came in to address a concern with the engine not starting, vehicle was towed into our shop
Upon inspection it was determined that the vehicle had two codes stored in
vehicles system, one was a Pfor the exhaust solenoid valve and a Pfor the catalytic convertera diagnosis was performed and determined that the exhaust solenoid valve was badTechnicians recommendation was to replace the valve first then recheckAfter replacement of the valve codes were reset and vehicle was road tested, no codes came backCustomer was advised as noted on the repair order that is the code Pcomes on again the catalytic converter would have to be replacedThe customer returned two days later with the light on and the only code present was the P
Even though Team Superstores has not done anything wrong we do care about our reputation and we care about our customers so in the name of customer satisfaction Team Superstores has agreed to reimburse the customer charges incurred for the no start concernPlease be advised that vehicle customer drove the vehicle back to the shop to look at the check engine light that is on and not towed into the shop

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me depending on pick up of the vehicle and road test. Sincerely, *** ***

The customers vehicle was returned to Team on 5/24/17 as requested. We performed a diagnosis the same day. We found out that the #5 ignition coil and spark plug hole full of water. Seal worn on ignition coil. For customer satisfaction, Team has offered to perform this repair at no charge to the customer even though it was determined that the cause was not the result of any previous repairs performed at Team. The customer was notified on 5/25/17 and parts were ordered. Due to the holiday weekend, we estimate repair completion to be on Tuesday the 5/30/17

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: When I took the car in on 5/16/17 they told me how much it was going to be and I informed them that I shouldn't have to pay that from all the other times I had came in that it should have been fixed (I never declined because it was to expensive). I have all of the papers from when I went including the one from 05/16/17 and they all have the same code on the papers that should have been fixed. [redacted] the service manager called me 5/23/17 and asked me to bring my car there today 5/24/17 which I did; I had the car towed there at my expense and went there behind it. I still have yet to hear back to see what they say this time is wrong. I feel they should fix the problem for free since I have already paid to supposedly have these things fixed before. Team continuously lie's to me like they did when they said I only needed to add oil to fix the problem before, how can I trust now that they are not lying again. I asked to be there so they can show me exactly what they are doing and yet have the allowed me to be these last two times I brung the car in. Sincerely,[redacted]
