To whom it may concern,My name is Anthony S [redacted] ,I am the owner of TJ Flooring LLC.This is in response of [redacted] ***'s complaint.I can start with saying that [redacted] is in violation of a written contractWhich I can provide for proof of breach of contract.Clearly stated on the contract it states that "TJ Flooring agrees to notify [redacted] if there are any changes to the materials used or date of installation, and to not continue with any work until [redacted] approves the changes".The date of completion got set for Thursday June 2ndWhich was agreed upon through text message which I also have.As for the quarter round breaking that kind of stuff can't always be helpedThe quarter round had adhesive in spots along with being siliconed on the top side and multiple layers of paint over itWe always try to salvage the quarter if at all possible. We agreed on installing new quarter round which would need to be paintedBecause the quarter round was going to be brand new I agreed to paint her wall base as I installed the new quarter roundWhich would cover the little bit of stain that had gotten on any base [redacted] was in full understanding that I could not get in her house to work because the floor was not dryBefore allowing me to finish my contract [redacted] told me she would have someone else finish my workI have all of this on text message.I have tried everything I could from day one to please this customer but I feel this customer simply cannot be pleased. Not allowing me to finish my work which is in contract and agreement through text message results in a breach of contract. The result of her work not being completed was solely her choiceI hope to receive payment for my contract and what has been agreed upon in my work contract that is subject to the laws and regulations of the state of Ohio. Thanks,Anthony

This is in regards to the complaint filed by [redacted] ***.There are several problems with [redacted] story and claimsI will no longer discuss this matter through the Revdex.com or any other means besides court[redacted] is making allegations of me entering her bedroom and several other thingsLong story short of this entire mess is the fact that she never let me finish my contract.I was never given the opportunity to finish. As far as the outlets go she specifically told me to not worry about them because her husband had to change the outlets to fit the new covers she purchasedI am making arrangements to file for mechanics Lien and will proceed accordingly for breach of contract

I am attaching a few screenshots of where *** *** and her husband both told me They will hire someone else to finish what is not completedThat no more work will be completed by me so they will not give me any more money. Also stated in the last complaint from *** That my work would not be completed by the contract breach date is false. It clearly states on the contract that if there is any change of material or installation date that I have to notify *** *** of any changes before I can continue. I will attach all screen shots. *** *** has decided to hire a lawyer so she is choosing to go a different route. In no way am I in breach of contract or in violation of anything else for that matter. Everything was agreed upon via text message.Clearly seen is everything agreed uponIncluding the finish date of ThursdayAlso you can read how we agreed that all base boards were getting REPAINTED!! This means her complaint of stain on the base boards is irrelevant. It seems that she can not be pleased and has no problem making accusations about people. I can supply all text messages from the first contact I have had with *** to the last. Through those texts you can see the difficulty I have had to deal with and impossible comments for me to try and complete her job. I think at this time since she has decided to hire a lawyer we will have to go the legal route on thingsI do not appreciate the accusations and the deprivation character. I am awaiting the response of her lawyer from my response letter to him

TJ Flooring was not told they would not be allowed back into the home to finish their work. We were interested in hiring another company to complete what was not finished by the contract breach date and to correct the items listed in the claim. TJ Flooring was notified of the interest to have another contractor complete/repair unsatisfactory work. I attempted to add attachments to this rejection in support of the original claim however I've received a website error several times
Regards,
*** ***

I would like the ability to supply a rating for this company based upon the information provided to ensure other consumers are not taken advantage of going forwardEven after the communications between Revdex.com he published pictures of the interior of my home as advertisements for his company without authorizationMy attorney is addressing this issue as well however the public deserves to know what type of company and individual they're talking with.Thank you,***

the contract it states that "TJ Flooring agrees to notify [redacted] if there are any changes to the materials used or date of installation, and to not continue with any work until [redacted] approves the changes".The date of completion got set for Thursday June 2nd. Which was agreed upon through text message which I also have.As for the quarter round breaking that kind of stuff can't always be helped. The quarter round had adhesive in spots along with being siliconed on the top side and multiple layers of paint over it. We always try to salvage the quarter if at all possible. We agreed on installing new quarter round which would need to be painted. Because the quarter round was going to be brand new I agreed to paint her wall base as I installed the new quarter round. Which would cover the little bit of stain that had gotten on any base. [redacted] was in full understanding that I could not get in her house to work because the floor was not dry. Before allowing me to finish my contract [redacted] told me she would have someone else finish my work. story short of this entire mess is the fact that she never let me finish my contract.I was never given the opportunity to finish. As far as the outlets go she specifically told me to not worry about them because her husband had to change the outlets to fit the new covers she purchased. I am making arrangements to file for mechanics Lien and will proceed accordingly for breach of contract.

I am in receipt of your letter dated June 13, 2016 regarding complaint ID #[redacted], [redacted].  I have also been contacted by her attorney, Mr. [redacted] with a list of Ms. [redacted]’s complaints and have responded directly to her attorney. I am enclosing copies of my response to Ms. [redacted]’s attorney, my demand letter for the balance due, and copies of text messages between Ms. [redacted] and myself which do not support her response. As I stated to her attorney, I am aware that the work was not completed as I had intended.  However, this was by choice of Ms. [redacted]. Per her text messages, she appeared to be satisfied with the work until she questioned why a smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling. Neither I, nor my brother were in the bedroom and do not know why the smoke detector was hanging but it was at this point Ms. [redacted] stated “I’ll have someone else come finish what you didn’t. I’ll put your fan on the porch.” At this time she also stated she did not owe anything else when I requested final payment for materials already purchased to finish the project.

Ms. [redacted] states the contract breached because the project was not finished per the date in the contract. Several conversations took place regarding the problems which arose. The main problem was a humidifier Ms. [redacted] had attached to the air conditioner. I was unaware of the humidifier until Ms. [redacted]informed me of it. The humidifier did not allow the floors to dry and a dehumidifier had to be used in order to dry out the floors which took much longer than originally planned. Ms. [redacted] was aware of the problem and was working with me in an attempt to dry out the floors. As one text states, “At the house now.Emptied the dehumidifier, was ¼ full. The floors look dry to me.” At this time she asked when I would return and we scheduled for Thursday morning. It was a hanging smoke detector that angered Ms. [redacted] in which I had nothing to do with.

It is my desire to have this resolved without any further distress to either Ms. [redacted] or myself. However, I will not be responsible for Ms. [redacted]’s decision to hire another contractor, which is also stated in my response to her attorney.

Sincerely,

Anthony S[redacted]
