TJ's Appliance Service

We called this guy because the lower oven of our double oven stopped working.. He came to our house told us we needed a new control board for our oven and one other part he needed to order. He had brought a "used" control board with him incase that was the problem. He charged us $400 for the used one vs the new one for 800 took our old one and "ordered" the other part.. The oven is worse then it was before now not only does the lower oven not work the top oven is 100 degrees to low. He will not return any calls. And I've seen a lot of reviews online that he screens phone calls to avoid customers.. So now we are out $400 and have an oven in worse shape then it was before he came.. I would give negative stars if I could.. This guy sucks do your self a favor and find someone else to service your appliances so you don't end up having to goto small claims court with him too...

Review: My oven's door would not close normally, so I called TJ 's Appliance service for assistance. The technician then came and told me that the door hinges need to be replaced. In order to proceed with the repair, I was asked to pay $300 which I did. The technician returned a few days later with the new part and replaced the old one. A few weeks later, the same problem occurred : the oven door would not fully close. So I called TJ's Appliance Service and after a few days they sent the same technician who recommended to replace the hinges again. He said he wold order them and return to install them.

Since he left, more than 3 weeks ago, I have been calling almost every day TJ's to find out when he would return to complete the repair. The [redacted] of the business answered my calls only once and promised to send the technician to finish the job. Since then, the technician has never shown up and my phone calls are not answered. The result is that I lost $300 and a lot of time, unless TJ's fulfills its obligation to finish the job.Desired Settlement: Repair of the oven door at no additional cost.
