TJ's Painting was easy to work with and work was efficiently and professionally completed. We would hire them again!

When it came to to update our dining room and attic/rec room, I didn't hesitate on who to call. I had used T.J.'s in the past for a laundry list of home repairs and was "extremely" happy with Ted and his crew.
This time around I needed my dining room stripped of wall paper (walls and ceiling) and repainted, repair to the sheet rock/celing and repainting in the attic and ceiling repair/paintimg in the kitchen.
Ted didn't disappoint. He was courteous and professional. He responded in a timely manner and his pricing was fair and reasonable. His crew was very thorough and friendly. Each day, they were careful to leave the house clean and livable for us while they continued through the job. I love the new look of our dining room and attic! TJ’s painted my living room, dining room, and upstairs and downstairs hallways; they also enlarged a doorway for me. We have an older house, and so it presented the usual challenges associated with older homes: plaster walls with all the ‘character’ of age, small passageways, and general imperfections. We are thrilled with the results! Ted is professional, punctual, reliable, kind, and empathetic. His crew of painters and carpenters were also excellent. We ‘lived’ together for over a week and they were very conscientious and punctual. They cleaned up and ensured that we had a habitable living area each evening before they left. It was a great experience working with TJ’s; we are very happy with the results and would definitely work with them on future projects.

We had been looking for a skilled and reliable contractor to fix an ill-mounted TV above our fireplace (we realized we were dealing with more than a simple TV mount and might need to have an outlet relocated or paneling removed, etc.). In our on-line search, we came across TJ's Painting & Renovations Co. Ted responded promptly to our inquiry, and was able to stop by same-day to take a look at the project. He had a quote out to us by that afternoon, and because of an opening in scheduling, said he could have a team back to our home to work on the project the next day. Frank and Russ were on-site on time the next day and were friendly, polite, and most importantly, did an excellent job. They also hooked up our refrigerator water line for us. Ted checked-in via e-mail after the projects were completed. Our only concern involved invoicing -- there was an increase to the original quote, which, when explained, made sense, but it would have been helpful to been notified of that prior to the increase. The additional work involved re-snaking a new HDMI cord behind the mount, which we, in our ignorance, assumed was related to the TV mount project (and therefore the rate we had agreed on for that project applied). The cable actually fell outside the scope of that. Not a deal-breaker by any means, but would have been great if it was more clearly highlighted -- just so we would be more accurately prepared for the final total.
Ted was courteous in reviewing the invoice over the phone, and we are extremely satisfied the quality of work that TJ's Painting & Renovations Co. provided -- we will be looking to them for future projects.

We've used Ted and his team twice in the last year. Both experiences were outstanding. We had a 2-story foyer painted, 3 rooms wallpapered, light fixtures hung, bathroom vanity installed and a basement bar and shelving unit built. Every job was done on-time with excellent communication along the way.

The painting was excellent, the price was very reasonable, and they even came back when I found a minor blemish to make it perfect. I highly recommend TJ's and definitely would hire them again.

Ted was extremely responsive, even though his crew was very busy. He was able to fit me into the schedule to help rebuild a wall in our house as well as do some weather sealing of our back deck. The team that came over for both jobs was very professional and did high quality work within the agreed upon time frame. Was relocating and needed to put my house up for sale quickly. TJ's came in, on short notice, and was able to knock out all of the projects they were tasked with. Painting, repairing walls, repairing molding, repairing flooring, etc. They did it all and did it right. I would recommend them to anyone!

TJ's painting did an amazing job in patching and repainting a condo that was in very rough shape. Ted covered every detail and quoted a very fair price. Jules and Gary provided superior workmanship managed to get the entire place into like-new condition, which was hard to image. I could not be more impressed.

Ted and his crew did a great job. They fixed up and painted my new house and my old condo that I'll be renting. Ted understood the implications of both jobs and helped me find solutions to fit my budget. At each step in the process, I understood what the rest of the job would cost, as well as what any changes would cost. I even put one of the sub jobs (deck refinish) out to bid again and he still came in with the lowest price. Their painters do excellent work. My house had high- contrast colors and they carefully got all the lines and corners just right. I'd recommend them to anyone.

We finally realized our dream for enclosing a screened porch and adding much needed closet space to our bedroom. Ted and his team of craftsmen did a thorough and beautiful job.
