Sorry for the delay as we only recently received the complaint regarding Mr[redacted] on [redacted]
Mr[redacted] has a legitimate complaint and it really comes from both sides in the form of poor communicationOur plumbers who are not Junior Plumbers came over to assess and diagnose Mr[redacted] concerns on his outdoor boiler systemUnfortunately at the time Mr[redacted] could not give us any details as to the make or model of the product so we were not able to stock the van with anything for the job at the time
The diagnostics revealed three broken frozen waterlines, plastic piping from under the grade frozen
In the meanwhile we cut out all the broken copper and could not do anything more until it thawed
We were in communication with Mr[redacted] and he questioned the cost and we told him that when it thaws we could address cost concerns at that time
Mr[redacted] said that Tuesdays or Thursdays are good for him and we scheduled tentatively for Tuesday knowing that Thursday would work also
As we thought might happen, we couldn't make it on Tuesday and when we called back to confirm Thursday he said he had another company on the way
The other company was able to address what we were going to fix because the lines thawed
We expressed to him that we would like to come out, assess our work and hear out Mr[redacted] to negotiate with him if necessary
We have since come to an agreement with Mr[redacted] and we both agreed to the confusion of the schedulingMr[redacted] will rescind his complaint with us both agreeing that it was a simple mix-up

On February 19, 2014, we went to Ms. [redacted]’s residence to unclog a drain with the Spartan 300. This machine goes 75’, we use this machine successfully in 90% of the homes we work in. When we left, the drain was flowing.
Seventeen days later, March 5th, 2014 Ms. [redacted] called, claiming that the drains were doing the same thing. Upon arrival we found nothing backing up. Her concerns were: the toilet was gurgling and the bathtub was backing up. We did not witness that. It was our observation that the drains seemed to be flowing fine.
We went to Ms. [redacted]'s at no charge to address her concerns, we offered to run the Spartan 1065 machine for 1/2 of the quoted price of $285.00. Ms. [redacted] refused. At that time, in the name of customer service and because we did have the equipment with us, we re-offered to run the Spartan 1065 for a flat fee of $100.00. Again she refused.
We attempted to explain to Ms. [redacted] that the Spartan 1065 is an expensive, special machine this machine will go 150’, it is expensive to maintain and operate and we have to charge a premium price. It is our standard procedure is to run the Spartan 300, a machine that we typically carry on our trucks first. If we cannot get the clog with the Spartan 300 and have to resort to the Spartan 1065 (which we would have to go to our shop to pick up) there is an additional cost to run this machine. Since we had the drains flowing on the 19th, there was no obvious need to retrieve and run the larger machine at an additional cost to the customer.
In conclusion, the drains were running when we left on February 19th 2014. We pulled out hair, dryer sheets and miscellaneous debris. As stated on the invoice, there is no guarantee on drain cleaning because we have no control on what the customer puts down the drain. When we were called back, on March 5th we did not find any drains backing up, but we did offer to run the larger machine at a discounted price in the name of customer service which she declined.
We feel that we addressed Ms. [redacted]'s concerns to the best of our ability. We would appreciate anything that you could do to bring this issue to an amiable conclusion.

Review: TJ's sent out two unqualified junior plumbers to my home for 6 hours and did not complete any work charging me over $500 for the visit, which also included drive time not only out to my home, but for them to go to the store in their service van to get parts in addition to providing schematics that I even understood to demo the system. Calling the representative at TJ's after explaining what happened, and he said he would come out to look, and credit me for the cost. Scheduling a time to come out they didn't come. I called again no response. I called a second company come out and they were able to get two of the three things running in less than two hours. One of the items just needed adjustment, the other needed a batter installed to the starter. I am having that company back out. TJ's finally called back three days after our scheduled appointment and I told them I just wanted a refund and explained the poor service. Never heard from them again. He wanted to additional tests and basically change me for the poor labor again, then were intending to run up the charges again. I was through with that. mess.Desired Settlement: I want them to give me my money back, they did nothing.

Review: I called the company because my basement (which is finished) was backing up with sewage even in the shower. The were supposed to unclog the drain which I paid $385. My son starting seeing the same things occur again and I called the company. They came back out and told me that I needed to pay another $285 for a bigger machine to unclog the drain. If they knew I needed the bigger machine why didn't they use it in the beginning? Why should I pay more money for something that was supposed to be already done? I need help and answers and don't have anymore money to give this company.Desired Settlement: I would like either a refund or the right machine used free of charge.
