Wrote a check for $on October 20th, to be used as a deposit for a car orderWas told by Kevin H*** that car would take 10-weeks to manufactureI emailed on November 28th to inquire about build status and was emailed by Kevin H*** stating car was being manufactured and would ship on January 16th, On January 19th, I was emailed by Robert S*** and told car would start manufacturing process by February 1stI emailed both Robert S*** and Kevin H*** asking to stop the order and refund the $deposit since the car hadn't even started the manufacture process yetI was declined a refund by Kevin H***He stated that a refund cannot be given after vehicle is scheduled for production I made a phone call to a senior member of management at a Spradley Barr motor company and was informed that a refund can be givenI emailed Kevin H*** again on January 23rd requesting a refund, Neither Kevin H*** nor Robert S*** will return my emails

My love and I have been back and forth so Spradley for months, trying to trade in our car for a different vehicleFinally my love and I found a truck we likedIt is an older truck, with more miles than our car, but who doesn't need a truck right? Well, we went through with the purchase late Tuesday nightAt the time we signed all the paperwork we were told "we will run it through a quick inspection first thing in the morning, get the new tires on it, and it will be good to go." So, yesterday at about noon I was already beginning to get frustrated that I had not heard from anyoneI spent my lunch hour putting insurance on the truck and getting ready to pick it up, cleaning out our trade in, etcFinally at around in the afternoon we are notified that the truck requires 3,dollars worth of work and will not be ready until next weekI was very upset at this news for a few reasons1st, Our trade in was looked at/inspected twice before they agreed to take it and set the trade in price, so it was hard to understand why they did not know the truck needed work when they sold it to me2nd, I put insurance on the truck during my lunch hour and now have paid the difference in the policy, and have an insured truck sitting in a shop3rd, the trade in is used on a daily basis for a paper route and daily driving, so the mileage on the trade in paperwork will be WAY off by next week4th, what happens if someone hits the trade or it is damaged before next week, this is a concern as I live on a busy streetWell, I went to the dealership and as soon as I got out of the car explained that I was trying to be calm but I was not happy with what I was toldColby, the nice sales man who sold me the car was not understanding why I was upsetI tried to explain from a customer stand point why I was upsetThis conversation lead to me going to another part of the dealership to speak to the used car manager SteveI sat down and explained everything, informed him I was not happy, asked for an explanation on why the work being done on the truck was not known before hand, and asked what they were going to do to compensate me for my time and money I spent on truck that I wasn't going to have for another weekThat lead to me asking if they could come down on the price of the truck (which seriously, I paid $dollars in an insurance difference and would have been happy with that.) I assume Steven thought I wanted money because he informed me he had no money to give me and he would not come down at all on the price of the truckBeing that Steve had already upset me with his demeanor and tone upon meeting me, I stood and said "okay, this is not acceptable and I don't want the truck, keep it." Steve stood, began to storm off and said "okay, I'll drop the truck in your driveway and take the car." I re-informed I didn't want it and he said "the car, it's mine, you signed the paperwork last night." (Mind you, he doesn't have the title, which I informed him of) but all of this lead to me telling him fine, fix it and be quick about itColby, the sales man, was amazing and apologized that all of this was happening, but Steve was nothing but an arrogant, cocky man who has no business being a manager or being in customer service, or even dealing with customers on a daily basisI am beyond upset and will NEVER go back to them for another vehicleToday I plan to speak to a lawyer and a few other people to see what legal action I can takeIn all the months we have been back and forth speaking to Spradley Barr, myself and my love always felt uncomfortable and unwelcomeI think customer service training is in order for everyone except Colby the salesman and one other lady we spoke to about the title to our trade inI do not recommend this company and I caution anyone considering buying from them

How is us sending a list the advertised walk throughIt does not even mention the walk through in the contract we signedIt does say we send a list of defects, but DOES NOT say the list is the walk throughThey did not correct everything on the list on Jan10th, we found out in the spring the flashing and the defective windows on the list were ignored and now we are having to miss another day of work to have them fix what they should have in January. Conclusion: still don't see where the list that the homeowner sends in is the advertised "walk through" from TK, and they lied in writing to the Revdex.com when saying they completed everything on the list which is resulting in another day of work lost for us

I am sorry for not replying back to you on the issue about TK Homes. They did come out and fix the air condition but there were other issues other than the air condition such as the craw space was staying damp and Mold had started to appear on the floor beams, plus they had spilled fuel oil on the master bedroom floor and there was a very bad odor an we could not stand to be in the bedroom. We have not moved into this house because of that. They had called today and said they would be out on the Twenty Third of this Month ond fix everything. I thank you so much for the help, I dont have any problem with them answering the phone now when I call.......Thanks again.   [redacted]
