TKO Plumbing, Heating & A/C

I have a preventative maintenance contract with American Home Shield. TKO Plumbing, Heating and A/C Inc. is the contractor American Home Shield sent to my home for the fall "tune-up" of my heating systems. A few days after they were here, I noticed water satins on my living room ceiling. I went up into the attic, and found the drip pan under one of my heating units was full of water. (Right above the stains in the ceiling). I called American Home Shield, who sent out another company to investigate. They discovered that one of the drain lines was plugged, causing the overflow.

American Home Shield has an HVAC Preventative Maintenance Service Checklist that is to be given to the customer by the contractor upon completion of the service. One of the items on that checklist is to "Check and clear primary/secondary condensation lines and pans. TKO obviously did not do that as part of the service call, thereby causing the damage to the ceiling. What I want from TKO Plumbing, Heating and A/C Inc. is for them to pay for the painting of my ceiling and reimburse me for the $60.00 service call I had to pay to the other contractor who discovered what the problem was.
