TKO Sports Bar and Grill

Hello my name is *** ***, and I am the assistant bar manager at TKO sports bar, and I am responding to a complaint made about me on October 7, ID number ***I'm really not too sure how to go about this, in all my
years of working I have never had a complaint made about meI understand that the complainant who filed the complaint claims that I was very rude to her by not letting her sit in seats that she claims no one was using, and that she would like for me to apologize for my actions, and I would gladly comply if I felt I was wrong but her complaint was completely exaggeratedOn Monday October 6, the customer and her companion walked up to the bar, the first seat that they went to sit in was occupied and the customer in the next seat told them it was taken, so I then saw them going for the seats next to it which was as well taken by a couple I did not know, but had a tab with me at the bar and were outside smokingSo before they sat down (where there was clearly glasses to save the seats) I informed them that the seats were in fact occupied and that there were some other seats at the end of the bar that were available, the complainant then told me "I do not see their names on it" I then smiled and said "yes but they just went outside to smoke and they will be back" she then responded "have them come and tell me to move"I explained that its just like when someone is seated at a table and go for a smoke, she continued to argue about it so I told her I would serve her but not in those seats she refused to move so to keep from any kind of further confrontation with me or the other customers that were sitting in the seats I asked the security to ask them to move to another seat, and I went to inform the other manager of the situationHe then went to talk to the girls and informed them as well that the seats were occupied, and that we would serve them but they needed to sit somewhere that was not takenThe complainant then proceeded to threaten to call the police and started to create a scene involving other customers sitting at the bar top, so the security had no choice but to ask her to leaveShe asked me for my name and I gladly gave it to her I then asked her how exactly I was rude to her I did not curse at her nor did I speak to her in a rude tone, she then replied that I handled the situation wrong, which I feel I did notI then wished them a good night and they left with no one touching them or forcing themI understand that everyone has the right to be treated fairly and do not feel that the complainant was treated in anyway different then anyone else that would have sat in those seats that eveningShe was in no way treated rudely or with any kind of threatening forceI hope you will please take my response to this matter as the truth I did not embellish in anyway and if necessary I have witnesses to the way the complainant treated me and our securitiesthank you for your time and I hope to hear from you soon
