Lets start by getting you the FULL and HONEST TRUTH as to how the ENTIRE scenario took place. [redacted] (In this case his wife has submitted this response as she has on other review locations such as [redacted] and ***) however [redacted] and his wife brought us the vehicle ALONG WITH the previous... owner for a pre purchase inspection on January 17,2017 in which case we found NO issue with the vehicle in question. We deemed the vehicle in good health per our findings. On March 17, 2017 [redacted] brought the vehicle in for an Oil Change AND Tire Rotation, simple service work, all w<Js still in good health with the vehicle at which point he paid the Invoice and was on his way. On Saturday Aprll22, 2017 (Our hours are APPOINTMENT ONLY on Saturdays in which case Mr. [redacted] did NOT have an appointment scheduled, however due to our good nature and customer service we looked in to hiscomplaint of "Noise In Passenger Side Front Wheel Area" upon inspection the technician noticed a crackin the spoke of the AFTERMARKET RIM the previous owner had installed on the vehicle which were installed on the Pre-Purchase Inspection. The crack in the spoke of the wheel was COMPLETELY through the material and was separating from the existing attached spoke. We then informed Mr. [redacted] of the crack in the spoke in which he visually inspected with my technician and agreed with my technician that this wheel was UNSAFE and needed to be removed IMMEDIATELY to prevent any further damage to Mr. [redacted] 's vehicle, Mr. [redacted] himself OR In the event of a complete failure of the wheel a hazard to other motorists/pedestrians. We removed the broken wheel on the passenger front of the vehicle and installed the TEMPORARY SPARE tire assembly. Both Technici;;ms AND the Owner Of TKS Automotive were VERY clear when we told Mr. [redacted] that the AFTERMARKET wheel uses aftermarket LUG NUTS that WERE NOT recommended to use on the factory TEMPORARY SPARE tire assembly, ALSO this TEMPORARY wheel is to ONLY get you to the n,zarest Discount Tire which is where the previous owner purchased the aftermarket wheels that were broken. NO FURTHER CONTACT WAS TO BE HAD WITH THEM BETWEEN THE TIME HE LEFT TO THIS NEXT STATEMENT. On Thursday April27,2017 Mr. [redacted] had the vehicle towed back to our shop with another complaint of "Noise In The Passenger Front Wheel" upon inspection my technician noticed the TEMPORARY WHEEL STILL INSTALLED ON THE VEHICLE ALONG WITH THE NON RECOMMENDm LUG NUTS, there was a BROKENlug stud and the remaining 4 (Four) Lug Studs were non repairable, due to the TEMPORARY SPARE TIREAND LUG NUTS still being Installed on the vehicle and him driving the vehicle longer than he was instructed. Upon speaking with Mr. [redacted] he informed us that DISCOUNT TIRE DID NOT have the proper aftermarket wheel in stock. He AND his wife demanded that WE fix the issue at hand in which case we told them we held NO responsibility of how he and or discount tire handled the unavailability of the wheel EVEN AFTER we reiterated NUMEROUS Times this will get you to DISCOUNT TIRE ONLY, from there its HIS RESPONSIBILITY and HIS ONLY, NOT OURS. After speaking with my technician we agreed to REPLACE ALL 5 (Five) Lug Studs on the Passenger Front Wheel Hub Assembly COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE in order to get the vehicle out of our shop so we can return to normal business. Mr. [redacted] 's wife brought to us a NEW AFTERMARKET WHEEL with her provided LUG NUTS for us to Install, I purchased the NEW LUG STUDS and performed the Remove and Replacement of the broken/failed LUG NUT STUDS (Again COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE). Upon Remove and Replacement of the Failed/Broken Lug Nut Studs my technician Inspected the passenger front wheel area (HubAssembly, CV Drive Axle, Brake Caliper And Rotor Assembly, Brake Pads, and ANY Other Applicable itemsthat MAY Have suffered damage. NO VISIBLE damage and/or concerns were found during inspection of the above mentioned parts. After the vehicle had left our shop we had NO CONTACT with Mr OR Mrs [redacted] . A few Days after the situation at hand Mr. [redacted] contacted us in search of some service work he needed done, at which point we DENIED Mr. [redacted] our services and stated the reason of our denial which was "We No longer feel as though its in the best Interest Of TKS Automotive to assume ANY further liability and/or continued service on Mr and Mrs [redacted] vehicle, we feel as though we were taken advantage of to the fullest extent and that in order to avoid any further conflict that we can no longer work on ANY of your vehicles from this point forward. After we stated that, Mrs [redacted] contacted us with threats of act"1ons such as this In order to deter business from our establishment KNOWING GOOD AND WELL TKS Automotive did their ABSOLUTE BEST in reconciling the issues at hand. TKS Automotive has a PHENOMENAL reputation in our community with MULTIPLES Star reviews in which you can look for yourself if you prefer to do research on your own. TKS Automotive is a family owned AND operated establishment In which our livelihood relies on, there is ZERO TOLERANCE for less than stellar business practices and ethics. This business response is completely fabricated and has many untrue facts and statementsI'm completky shocked that they would flat out lie about what happenedI stand by what my original statementIf TKS had communicated that we should not drive on the temporary tire, and that they installed it with incorrect lug nuts we would not have accepted that riskWe trusted TKS to have our safety as a priority and we were failed and now they are lying about what happened as well

I as well stand by my previous statement, im not going to be belittled and talked down to by someone who WAS NOT PRESENT at the time of this happeningMR *** was present during these conversations, NOT Mrs***But I can understand Mr*** not wanting to admit to the fact that he was SPECIFICALLY told to NOT DRIVE FURTHER THAN DISCOUNT TIREDiscount Tire not having availability on the aftermarket wheel he needed DOES NOT constitute TKS having ANY responsibility to his negligence OR him ignoring our professional adviceTKS no longer wishes to discuss this matter, I do understand that the Revdex.com is there when the consumer has a LEGITIMATE complaint against a business, however this is THE FARTHEST from a legitimate complaint due to the fact the complainant was NOT PRESENT during ANY of the gatherings listed in my previous statementThank you and have a nice day. -Daniel TKS Automotive
