Customer was informed that we dont offer life time warranties on ANY of our jewelry I showed the customer where our Company Polices statement was hanging in our store, that states that we guarantee all our new jewelry from manufactuer defects, and that we dont advertise anywhere that we offer any sort of lifetime warranyHe had the ring sized up when he bought it, and we do offer a one year warranty on our jewelry repair, as long as there isnt signs that the jewelry was abusedI explained to the customer that we repaired the break in the bottom of the shank a couple times (years later) as a courtesy to him, and we did so because he did purchase the ring from us, and we sized it The customer stated that the stone was replaced by us at no charge, a few years ago, and this is falseThe only documentation that was presented by the customer, was the repair ticket showing where we sized it when it was first purchased, and other repair tickets showing where that we soldered the shank back where the solder joint come apart where it was sized, and again, we did all shank repairs at no charge The black onyx stone was damaged due to years of wear, and banging up against things We quoted the customer a reasonable estimate to replace the stone
