D&S has agreed to strip, install ice and water shield, install new GAF shingles and replace gutter on the sunroom roof; and install an aluminum drip edge along the covered porch roof. All work will be fully guaranteed by D&S. We have mutually agreed that I will pay D&S $1450.00 for the work which is 50% of the original $2900.00 proposal. I would also like you to know that D&S has acted promptly to rectify this and will start the work today. I am pleased that through your help and cooperation from D&S this complaint has been resolved. [redacted] never asked me to remove any shingles and send them to them. They did say the guarantee is by D&S not them and D&S should honor it. D&S told me they would talk to [redacted] and get back to me. They never did. There is no evidence the roof was damaged by any storm and all the shingles are in place. I feel D&S is just trying to void their guarantee which did not have any conditions.
