I have decided not to pursue this in court and will not be filing any charges. Customer, *** ***, contacted us on Thursday evening to pickup a dog on Friday afternoonI had drivers in the vicinity. The dog was at the *** *** Animal Control ShelterMy driver DID show up on time, at 1:pmBut the shelter refused to give my driver, Christian, the
dog because he was not a *** *** residentBoth my driver and I called and told *** that they would not release the dog to ChristianShe then told us that some rescue would be "taking over" the dog on Saturday morning and that THEY would be allowed to give the dog over to usThis all took place on Friday at 1:pmMy driver and I then had a conversation about him staying until the next day, Saturday, when he could pickup this dog from the rescue at 10:amAs this is what *** said we would be able to doI suggested to *** *** that she should pay for my driver, Christian's motel room because he was staying an extra day and nightContractually, he is not obligated to stayTLC made an attempt to pickup the dog per the customer's Contract and instructions. BUT, because Christian and I did not want this dog to be put down, he stayed the night anyway and paid his own expenses in hopes that the following morning he could acquire this dog.Both Christian and I really had no idea if a rescue organization was actually going to pick this dog up Saturday morning or not*** *** did not supply us with the correct information the first timeAnd we figured she was just guessing about the rescueShe did not even have the name of the rescue. Then, early Saturday morning I received an email from *** *** that *** had filed a charge backA charge back is a request that her money be returnedAfter seeing this, I then called Christian and told him not to bother with going back to the *** *** Animal Control because *** had cancelled her transportI told him to return to the office*** is in the process,as we speak, of getting her money refunded.We went above and beyond to help this girl rescue this dog.Now she is just being malicious and mean spirited and trying to hurt our reputationSo much for trying to help someone rescue a dog from the *** *** Animal ControlGale L/ owner / TLC Pet Transport, Inc

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.   
This is not true and nor has TLC Pet Transports ever refunded my money.  In fact Gale L. has argued with [redacted] about refunding my money. Gale L. has responded to [redacted] that she would like to keep at least a little of the money for herself. Additionally,  Gale . contacted me Saturday morning again asking for additional money. Following that phone call,  Gale L. texted me and threatened to return the dog to the shelter. The shelter hadn't even opened yet as it was now Saturday, and she was calling at 9:30 am stating she would return the dog.  At 10 am when the shelter opened I called them and confirmed that no one from anywhere had ever picked up the dog.  Gale L. pretended to have the dog though she never did, and attempted to extort more money from me.  Following that refusal to give her more money,  Gale L. sent me a text in which she stated that she will tell my employer what kind of person I am and that she hoped the dog was dead. I have retained copies these messages and of everything and am also working with authorities on criminal aspects of this case. To date Gale L. has NEVER returned my money,  though in her rambling dis-jointed prose she ultimately admits not providing the service for which she was contracted.
