Contract Dated 2/21/18 planned start date 4/1/18, completetion date 4/17/18. Paid 1/2 of contract price and work still not completed Home Advisor ref
I have called and text several times trying to get closet doors installed. She has lied to me over and over and still putting off installation even now. Still making excuses that she doesnt have the time to make the closet doors. I finally realized she did not want to finish my job. So she has taken my money and only done half of the job. I have contacted Home Advisor and made complaint.
A refund of $300.00, the work that was preformed was not $1,199.25 worth of work or materials. I do not want this company to finish the work because I do not trust her or believe her any longer. This company should be put on your bad company list. Hope they do not treat other people this badly.
This was a 3 part Handyman Project;
1.) Procure & Install Hand Rails for Hot Tub
2.) Patch Ceiling Cracks & Paint
3.) Build & Install (4) sets of louvered closet doors
This client DOES have every reason to be disappointed with our timing on this project. It was agreed that we would "work her in" within our already scheduled projects, but she wasn't put in the schedule for a month, and then there was an additional delay when the handrail was backordered. Both Projects 1 & 2 have been completed, and client was sent a refund check for the unfinished closet doors. We are truly saddened with the outcome, and have offered our sincerest apologies to the client.
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I have to accept the response because I would never do business with this person ever again. She lied to me and told me they were almost ready to install the closet doors, that they needed to be painted. When I ask for a picture she finally had to admit they didn't even have 1 set completed. She gave me a refund but I feel was inadequate for the work that was performed. I was honestly surprised to get an apology and refund. She cannot be trusted!!!!
