Contract offers a free trip in exchange for their time and no trip was available. Refund is requested for my $50 fee paid up front to book. On 3-3-14 a rep. from TLZ Distributors came to my home to demonstrate a [redacted]. I was promised a free trip through [redacted], but had to pay $50 to book. I did so with my credit card on 3-3-14, but on 4-10-14 I rec'd a letter stating the dates I selected were not available, and a refund could be requested if I called [redacted]. I did call on 4-24-14 and after a 50 minute hold, was told my refund would be processed within 8 weeks. (That would have been June 19th, 2014) Today is July 3, 2014, and no refund has been processed, nor can the TLZ Distributor representatives help me. This is false advertising, and deceptive, and wrong to promise something that you cannot back up or provide help with when a refund of my money was promised. I want my $50 back. Desired SettlementIt was the TLZ Distributors who provided me with a written contract stating the trip was offered through [redacted], so they should either back up their guarantees, contact [redacted] to help me get my refund back, or refund me out of their own pocket for my $50. They should not associate themselves with this company and provide promises on their own paper if they are not willing to help consumers like me get my money back for allowing their reps. to come in to my home. I want my $50 back!Business Response First of all we would like to apoligize the dates that the consumer requested were not available. We are still investigating why the consumer did not receive their refund by June 19 from [redacted]. However we were unaware of this issue until a [redacted]. We here at TLZ would like to know which representive could not help the consumer as we did not receive a call at the office. We offered to compensate the consumer with a gift from our office but consumer declined. We have since contacted the consumer and have refunded them the $50.00 from our office.
