Dear Representative of the Revdex.com :The evening of May we held a trivia night in which we get relatively busy, This particular customer came in with a gentleman and another young ladyThey ordered two personal pitchers of beer and the younger lady ordered a cokeadded non-alcoholic grenadine to it because we didn't have cheery cokeThe younger lady and gentleman ordered food the gentleman ordered mozzarella sticks and a cheese steak, the younger lady corn nuggets and a turkey club sandwich, The olderlady didn't order foodShe stated she had a big junch and only drank her pitcher of beerTheir food came out and the older two ordered another pitcher eachWhen clearing the plates the server asked if they were ready for their check they stated they were going to hang out a little bit to finish their drinksThe bartender/server and manager were cashing large groups of customers out when the older lady came to the bar and asked for her checkShe was given her bill she paid, and then noticed it seemed highShe came to manager and the manager (myself) noticed that another tables order had been rang in under their table by accident, she apologized to the customer who was still upsetthen took the items that were not that customers off her check voided the payment and handed the customer a new receipt with the corrected total on the billThe customers was complaining saying this had happened before to which I am unaware of, she then proceeded to leave the restaurant without paying the corrected bill she was givenWe have signs hung up in our restaurant stating that any tabs that are walked out on without signing of given payment will have 20% gratuity addedthen pulled and audit report showing her card number from the first bill that she paid and was voidedthen ran the numbers again and added the 20% gratuity to the check for the serverThe lady called the next day or a few days later in the afternoon as a day time manager was here, he tried to ask for her name to took into the situation for her and she was grunting at him on the phone would not give her name and was very hostileLater that evening or possibly the next day the customer returned to the bar and was off that night, She spoke to the server that was on duty the night she was there and another server that was the previous managerShe explained the situation and the lady was still upsetShe called me and I told her to give the lady my numberThe lady called me and I tried to apologize several times to the lady for the misunderstanding and that she did in fact walk out and F had to pull her card numberShe kept interrupting me and telling me was not allowed to apologize that it was not neededThe previous manger is a witness to her saying these things to me as she was still in our bar while calling meShe then started grunting and making strange noises on the phone and hung up on meThe previous manager then said she started pounding her fist on the bar and cryingThat is when she took this issue to social media slandering my business and changing the story aroundresponded on [redacted] *** and told my version of what happenShe also had her employees from [redacted] *** on the [redacted] post calling me a hoe, and other things as well as her daughter saying rude thingsI have screen shots of the post if you need me to print and provided for youI also have the unsigned copy showing that if in fact she would of signed like she said she did she would of seen the gratuity added, also can show what time had to rerun the payment on the new receipt totally after she walked out because we have cameras and my computer system logs all the times everything was enteredI am sorry she doesn't agree with what happened but I tried to handle it and could not because she refused to allow me or the other manager speak, as she cut us off and proceeded to make grunting noises into the phoneI will included all parties involved at the bottom of thisThank you and I am sorry that the story is being misrepresented to you.Thank you,Mararda B [redacted]
