Spent a week choosing between different Dolphin hosting offersFinally picked this companyTalked with different reps, everything was fine until I paid for the planThey called me right after to confirm my paymentAlso asked me to send them my IDThen, after getting my ID and paypal screen photo, for no obvious reason they told me that my payment was flagged by their processing company as a fraud (even though I paid using my long time paypal account) and cancelled my payment, followed by banning my IP(sic!)Given the fact that I bear Russian name and live in France, providing them my French ID, I guess that was their real reason, a prejudice which turned into cancelling and banningMaybe they dislike all non-americansOtherwise there is no any other explanation as my paypal account works fine, it is not stolen and I paid with my own cardWorst experience everCompletely wasted my time

This hosting company refuses to fix temporary issues in the interest of the customer forcing their preferred inept fixes through migrating servers that require over a week of non-functional unusable e-commerce websitesThe best part is they then refuse to cover damages of lost sales unless you drag them through courtGuess which option they made us chose for them?
Also, they sell or used to sell server hosting packages based on misleading of hardware node redundancy, come to find that its just a sales tactic in their own wordsNo wonder one faulty hardware node caused outages multiple times and crippled our service when other servers they host are under attack

I have nothing but positive things to say about TMDHosting. I simply love their service, support, and everything they offer. I highly recommend them!

I was initially very pleased with their service. I transferred my hosting from another provider and the actual hosting has been flawless. There have been no service interruptions, and the server upgrade notifications are made well in advance. The actual hosting has been good, and for that reason they don't get just one star.
Because their hosting service was in fact good and inexpensive, I decided to transfer my actual domain name to them as well. What has followed has been a horror show. I did everything they asked, including removing the locks and obtaining the approvals from the transferring company, which took quite a bit of effort and time. TMD, unfortunately, has been unable to transfer the domain for reasons that cannot explain. Now, because they have taken so long, the window to transfer has expired and I'm back to square one. TMD was initially responding to my online support ticket and updating it for a while. Mysteriously, however, once the transfer was closed without explanation, they stopped responding. When I call their 1-888 number and hit "2" for technical assistance, it puts me on automatic hold to wait for a rep for about 5 minutes, then it just disconnects without ever connecting to a representative or opportunity to leave a message.
I really wanted these guys to be a complete hosting a domain name and hosting solution for me. I'm having a hard time seeing that be the case with the lack of accessibility of their support and more importantly, inability to actually solve problems when they occur.

Reduced to one star for being probably the least competent customer service I've ever dealt with.
