Review: BEING OVERCHARGED FOR REPLACING RIGHT HINGE ON A CALORIC WALL OVEN ON 6/**/2013. THERE WAS NO DEDUCTION FOR THE ORIGINAL SERVICE CALL FEE,($60). TOTALLING $381.06 INCL. TAX. THE INITIAL SERVICE FEE WASNT DEDUCTED. THE REPAIRED HINGE IS NOW BROKEN AND A SERVICE CALL TO [redacted] AT TMG APPLIANCE REPAIR; AND I WAS TOLD I WOULD HAVE TO PAY A NEW SERVICE CHARGE TO GET SERVICE, WHICH IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY.THERE IS A PRINTED TWO LINER ON BOTTOM OF INVOICE, " TERMS - NET CASH, NO GOODS HELD OVER 30 DAYS ". THIS IS THE WARRANTY I AM TOLD.THIS SERVICE PERSON IS OVER-CHARGING AND DOING SHODDY WORK.Desired Settlement: I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THE UNIT REPAIRED, IF NOT I WOULD LIKE A REFUND BASED ON A RESONABLE CHARGE DEDUCTED FOR REPAIR.

We received a call from [redacted] on June [redacted] ,2013 and the on June [redacted], 2013. He needed a service for a caloric wall oven. We told him in advance that the service charge for the area is 60$, which is going to be deducted from the total labor. The customer was agreed to have service. The technician came to diagnose the problem. He stated that hinges have to be replaced. After that, technician left, saying that he has to find out in stores if parts are available and call back to the customer with results. He called back to [redacted] saying that the parts are no longer available, they are discontinued. In fact, the caloric oven that customer has, has specific size and other oven would not fit there. If the customer would want to buy a new oven, he would have to replace kitchen's cabinets. That is why the customer asked technician to fix it. Technician before providing a service gave detailed information about what he will perform and what c an happen after service because there were no parts available. Technician gave a reasonable price because it is not a simple job. During the labor, technician had to take out double oven from cabinets, opened up the whole appliance, took out hinges and adjusted them. The total labor was 410$ plus tax minus 60$ which is service fee deducted from a total labor. The amount paid after deduction was 350$ plus tax. The customer called back after 45 days from service saying that technician has to come again to provide service at no charge. However, the policy of our company is written online. They are highly trained and our company has a lot of satisfied consumers. Obviously, working with people is difficult always. As many people as many opinions.

"However, the company can make an exception and issue

a 100$ refund to the customer because the company's reputation and customer's

satisfaction is more important. Again, the company does not have to issue a

refund but in order to make the customer feel better about it, we can do that."

As of 9/*/2013, I have not received that refund of $100.00, nor have I heard from them.

As of 9/*/2013 the company made a decision to issue a refund to [redacted] in the amount of 100$ but did not send it yet because the company never had problem with customers and no one had asked Business Bureau to resolve an issue that is why the company was waiting for Revdex.com's instructions. To avoid further misunderstanding, we just simply will send out a check in the amount of 100$ to the customer on 9/*/13. The check number is [redacted].
