I only went through them because I had a claim with [redacted] and they were localThey started off great – all nice, calling regularly, seemed very thoroughOnce I read their contract and it said they weren’t responsible for any lost or broken items I got a concerned, called [redacted] and then asked how I can ensure my stuff was taken care of properly – their response was to hand me boxes and packing itemsSo now I packed up all my own stuff and moved it (except furniture) into my guest room – yet we ( [redacted] and myself) were still charged for them to pack up and move my stuff and return my stuff to it's locations along with a trailer for furniture that they never usedThen once the work started it went down hill They just kept asking for me to sign the checks so they could get paid – even before the work was completedThey tried several times to be done, but it wasn’t done correctly (and/or as listed on their thorough break down submitted to ***)On the third time I called them back, I was specifically told to “make a list, because we can’t keep coming back for every little thing.” (Oh, and they moved all the smaller furniture into the hallways, in front of the bedroom and bathroom doors making our arrival home, after work very frustrating.) I made a list, work was complete, I signed the [redacted] check and offered to pay the deductible and was told not to at that time that he’d call me back – This was May and I wasn’t called until July and now they wanted more money due to not paying earlierWhen I returned the call after I was done with a vacation and explained the situation to the office lady, she did wave the interest but told me, and I quote, “you are a difficult client” (this was on Wednesday, July at 3:20pm EST)Having talked with [redacted] I’ve submitted various pictures of all their shortcomings, and we received other quotes for the same work and found they are significantly over pricedAm I supposed to be sorry we were paying them significantly more than others would have charged for the same work, calling them back to fix their sloppiness, and wanting a good, proper completion of a job – not only for myself (the person who already experienced water/wind damage), but also as a representative of ***So, don’t be fooled by how they are up front – in the end they just want your money…and what’s worse - Lord, help me – is that through [redacted] they have to guarantee and stand behind their work for years ……..yikes
